The apartment is shared with other guests, but the room is private. The room includes a queen- size bed, work desk, nightstand, lamp, TV, and your own closet space. We freshen the rooms between each guest check-in by spraying air freshener, lighting candles, and using an Airwick plug-in. If you are sensitive to scents, please let us know in advance and we'll do our best to minimize them. Chicago is a beautiful city, and with our close proximity to the Loop, along with trains and buses just a 3-minute walk from the building, you'll be able to explore the city easily using public transportation. Street parking is available right in front of the building, with additional parking across the street. For same day bookings please know that check-in time can vary, as we need time to prepare the space. check-in time can range from 5pm-8pm depending on when you book, if booking after 2pm check-in would ideally be between 5-8. before that check-in would be between 5-6. McCormick Place is about 20 minutes away via the #3 bus. Millennium Park / the Loop is about 25 minutes away (around 17 minutes by train and a 6-minute walk total). Mariano's grocery store is a 15-minute walk away, or you can take about 5-8 minute on the 3 bus. Please Read Carefully Important Notes: This listing is for the bedroom only. The apartment is shared with other guests. If you did not book the living room, please do not enter or use it. The bedroom door locks as been updated to an automatic lock for extra security. For groups of three or more, both spaces can be booked separately. Living Room Listing Includes: A full sofa bed. Work desk and lamp. Your own storage area A privacy divider (not a door - it is still a living room space) that fully closes to create privacy. Lock on the divider, and blinds for extra privacy. Guest Access & Shared Space Guidelines: Guests have access to the entire apartment, except for areas specifically booked by other guests. While the apartment is shared, each private space (bedroom and living room) is reserved separately, and only accessible to the guest who booked it. Access & Amenities: The balcony with a sofa and table is a shared space and all guests are welcome to use it. The living room is not a shared area. It must be booked separately. Please do not enter unless you’ve reserved it. A top shelf in the fridge is left open for guest use, please dont spead your item around so everyone has guaranteed food storage. Each guest will find 1 bottles of water per guest in there room. These can be refilled using the filtered water pitcher if more water is needed, as the bottle is limited to 1 per guest. IMPORTANT: Please refill the water filter and return it to the fridge after use. Bathroom items such as body wash and conditioner (as shown in the listing photos) are available for guest use. Since this is a shared home, please do not use other guests’ personal items without asking. anything not put out/in stated us for guest in the listing isnt for guests. Common items like dishes and pots and utensils can be used by guest of couse, but items like food that are not basic amenities like salt and pepper please ask before using. we are a low income household and rely heavily on snap and with the new rules we need to balance the usage. During your stay I am here to assist you with to the best of my ability. Please communicate with me first if you need anything or have any questions I will try my best to address all your concerns and if i am not available I can have my partner help you. Kitchen & Shared Areas • The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, an electric kettle, and other cooking essentials. Basic cooking items such as oil, salt, and pepper are available for guest use. • Feel free to use the kitchen equipment, but please wash and return items after use so they remain available for other guests. • Pantry shelf items and bathroom shelf items belong to the hosts unless otherwise indicated. Guests are welcome to store their own belongings on available shelves but should not use items that do not belong to them. • Always ask before using food, beverages, or personal items that have not been specifically provided to you. Water & Refrigerator • One complimentary bottle of water is provided per guest and will be located in your room upon arrival. • Guests may refill their bottle using the water filter located in the refrigerator. Please refill the filter and return it to the refrigerator after use. • A designated section of the top refrigerator shelf is reserved for your food and beverages and is shared with one other guest.
