Other things to note Please take note of these additional details for a comfortable and safe stay: • Nature & Wildlife: This is a semi-remote mountain retreat, meaning you may encounter spiders, spiderwebs outside, wildlife, and insects as they are part of the natural ecosystem. Refunds will not be given for encountering bugs. Bears are known to frequent the area; please maintain a safe distance and enjoy them from afar. Always keep car doors locked when unattended. • Weather Conditions: Positioned high on the mountain, the cabin can experience heavy winds and gusts. Tennessee can have severe weather, which may affect your ability to enjoy the decks. Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for weather, natural disasters, power outages, or other events beyond our control. • Road Conditions: The roads heading to the cabin are county-maintained and nicely paved. However, they can be relatively steep to some and can be slick in inclement weather. There are no guard rails. It is suggested you have four-wheel drive available in less desirable weather, so keep that in mind if you are planning a winter trip. If you are not used to mountain roads, give yourself extra time and try to arrive prior to dusk. • Internet Reliability: We offer high-speed (1,200 MPS) Wi-Fi internet via Comcast Xfinity. Please note that, as with all technology, especially in rural areas, Wi-Fi availability is reliant on the service and cannot be guaranteed. • Pets Policy: While we love our pets, we will not be allowing any pets to join you during your stay. Please respect this policy. You will be charged $500 if you bring a pet. • Please do not use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or are pregnant. • Check-in/Check-out: No early check-ins are permitted.
