So beautiful - even the bugs love it! :) The property is routinely sprayed for insects, however, mosquitoes require a different treatment. Bug spray is recommend while outdoors, especially for those sensitive to the bites. While bug spray is completely adequate for the task, we partner with a local professional mosquito spray company to provide these services for an additional charge if desired. This will sometimes make more sense for larger groups or guests hosting gatherings in the backyard. We would be happy to facilitate scheduling the added mosquito spray if desired. Advanced noticed is required to allow sufficient time for scheduling. Please let us know if you’re interested! Because we’re on in island surrounded by marshland, palmettos may be spotted. Again, we spray quarterly to prevent encounters the best we can, but sometimes, especially during the hot, damp months that the South is infamous for, you might have a run-in. Good to know: - Need extra time? A 1-hour early check-in or late checkout is $20, subject to availability. Request it in the Airbnb app before 10 PM the night before, and we'll send the charge through Airbnb. - A Minut noise and smoke monitor is inside the home. It measures decibel levels only and does not record audio. It helps us keep things quiet late at night for the neighbors. - Date change requests depend on availability, and the nightly rate for new dates may be different. Changes within the cancellation policy window generally can't be approved. - Pricing is based on the number of guests and pets on your reservation. Please make sure it's accurate. If it changes, we'll send an update through Airbnb for the difference. - Smoking or vaping indoors requires odor remediation, and that cost will be requested through Airbnb.
