The house is three blocks from the broad street subway line, a short ride to and from center city and the sports complex. $7 uber/lyft rides, and a bike share station 1.5 blocks away connect you to multiple points in and around town! Other things to note There are plenty of open free museums around 5th and market st., like the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall(on the $20 bill) and Betsy Ross house(American flag designer). The best nightlife area is Midtown Village at 13th and Samson streets. There you'll find the best variety of different restaurants and bars all within two blocks! The best way in and out of town is the Broad Street Line subway. The Tasker-Morris station is three blocks from the house, and is a short ride into town! Uber rides are about $5. There's also a grocery store (Acme) on 10th and Dickinson if you two want to eat and drink at the house. Wine and Spirits on 11th and Wharton st. is near Acme and sells liquor and wine.
