The studio features a queen size bed, daybed, walk-in shower, kitchenette with a Keurig machine, microwave, dedicated workspace, and a sizeable closet. Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, 50" LED smart TV, toiletry kit, bottled water, snacks, and K-cups. The kitchenette is equipped with a Keurig K-Express coffee maker, microwave, and mini-fridge. Guests receive complimentary bottled water, K-cups, snacks, and disposable hot cups with lids to grab your coffee on to go. The full bathroom features a walk-in shower and includes a full set of toiletries. The studio features a private entrance and includes complimentary off-street driveway parking ensuring your vehicle is safe and easily accessible throughout your visit. In addition to the Huntington metro, the studio is also a 5-minute walk to a park with a paved trail (great for jogging), and to a shopping plaza which features several restaurants, grocery stores, 7-Eleven, Dunkin, and other outlets such a nail salon, barber shop, and dry cleaners. Washington National Airport (DCA) is a 20-minute ride by metro and 15 minutes by car. National Harbor Gaylord is 12 minutes by car. Wegmans and Whole Foods are a five-minutes drive. This studio apartment offers both a spacious retreat in a safe neighborhood and easy access to Alexandria and DC. Heating and cooling are managed through the main floor of the house. We are happy to accommodate any adjustments to the temperature. We are a pet friendly house and welcome guests with pets. However, pets are not allowed on the bed and the daybed due to the difficulty of removing pet hair from bedsheets and soft furniture. We ask that guests ensure their pets are supervised or are in a crate if there is a possibility the pet might climb on the daybed or bed. The pet fee is $65 per stay. The pet fee is waivable for service dogs upon presentation of service animal certificate. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire lower-level floor and are able to self-check in at any time. Entrance is at the back the house, down a flagstone path that runs along the side of the house and leads to a private door with a keypad lock. Other things to note We will do our best not to make noise, but the studio is located on the lower level of a three-floor house and as with all apartments, you may be able to hear us as we live on the upper floors of the house.
