The space Wake up to misty lake views and unwind in boho-chic comfort at our Lake Samish retreat. Nestled among evergreens, and just steps to the lake, The Lake House - Samish is ready to welcome you with rustic charm and thoughtfully curated touches. You will enter The Lake House through the original 1936 built solid wood door, which will lead to a great room featuring a massive stone fireplace (original) which you can enjoy on those chilly mornings and cozy nights. The great room has ample seating for family and friends to gather, with leather loungers and a 90 inch couch. When not enjoying board games with friend, or cozied up to the fireplace with a book in hand, you can enjoy the 60 inch smart TV with full cable package. As you move towards the kitchen, there is a large sideboard for you to store and decant all your spirits, as well as a bluetooth enabled Marshall speaker to play all your favorite tunes while enjoying meals at the 6 person dining table overlooking the lake! The kitchen features a convection stove, Cafe microwave and toaster oven, Keurig, Coffee press, ample cookware and plates/utensils and a large refrigerator/freezer to store all the fresh fruits and veggies you might have picked up at the Bear Creek Farmstand which you will likely pass by on the way to the house! Before heading downstairs to the Primary and Guest Bedrooms, head up the narrow (also original) stairs to the theme room, which offers two twin size beds for any extra guests. There is also a full bath on the main level, featuring a free standing bathtub and shower for your soaking and relaxation. Head downstairs to the the spacious primary suite featuring a plush king bed, direct access to the lake, a smart TV with full cable package, full length mirror and an ensuite bathroom with double showerheads and locally made high end soap products. Our guest bedroom features a queen bed, picture window with views of the lake and a full length mirror. Directly outside the guest bedroom is a half bath. Whether you are looking for a place to stay while visiting family and friends in the area, a staycation/quick get-away from Seattle or surrounding areas, a relaxing retreat or some lake fun in the summer months, the whimsical, cozy vibes of The Lake House - Samish are sure to make your stay magical. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house! Other things to note -We want all of our guests to relax and have fun...but also ask you please be respectful of our neighbors and keep the noise levels reasonable :) -There are two parking spots available for use. The spots can comfortably accommodate a SUV size vehicle (Toyota 4Runner size). The spots cannot accommodate large heavy duty trucks, boats, trailers, etc. -Dogs are most welcome for an additional fee. Fee varies based on size and breed of your fur baby, so please let me know when booking if you plan to bring your pup! -Please, no smoking anywhere on the property (both inside the house and the backyard). If there are sights (cig butts) or smells of cigarettes or cigars upon checkout, we will assess an additional cleaning fee as the smell is very difficult to get out.
