The “Greene” MCM Shared Home (QUEEN ROOM ONLY)

This listing is for our Queen Room in our shared* home. We live here full time. We are about 15 minutes to downtown Dallas. Safe and quiet neighborhood with ADT security. Cozy and comfortable home full of love. Large background with grill, fire pit, and instant access to a beautiful pool, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and walking paths. We are a calm simple couple, Ben works full time as a Nurse and Cortney is a retired dancer and usually home caring for the house and pets. The space Shared home. We live full time in the master bedroom. Offering comfortable Queen room for our guests. The Queen Room is spacious with a comfortable queen size bed, plenty of closet and dresser space, blackout drapes and TV. Shared Full Bathroom: Shower/bathtub and large sink area. Comes with towels and basic toiletries. Extra supplies in the cabinet above the toilet or under the sink. Den: Located immediately to the left from the front door entrance with seating for 4-5 people. Includes storage ottoman (extra blankets and pillows) and a green futon if extra sleeping area is needed. Dining area: MCM Dining set that seats 4-6. Living room: Comes with a large TV (apple) and sectional sofa that includes a queen size pull out bed. Stone fireplace and a built in shelving unit/ desk area. The kitchen: Includes a large counter with 4 barstools, modern appliances, a pantry, and all the cooking/dining essentials you would need! There is a dedicated shelf in the fridge for guests. Please ask if there is anything you need. Laundry Room: Door next the kitchen, full size front loading washer and dryer available for you to use if you need it. Please just communicate with us if you need to wash anything in case we have a cycle going already. **We live here with our Dalmatians (very friendly and loving) and a small b/w Cat and two small birds (living room). The pets stay with us in our room most of the time while guests are present with the exception of mealtime and going outside for bathroom breaks. We DO allow pets for a small fee but we ask that you communicate with us ahead of time about your pets. Garden: We usually have a veggie garden with fresh herbs depending on the season. Landscaping: Currently under construction, but should in no way affect our guests. We have several plants throughout the house and in the front and back yard. Back patio: Accessible through the sliding glass door in the living room. The backyard includes a two person seating area with tables, BBQ grill, plants and garden area. At the back of the fence is a gate for quick access to the tennis courts, volleyball area, and pool/club house- with relaxing walking trails all through the neighborhood. We try to keep up with the dogs but please be mindful when you’re walking in the backyard for possible pet deposits. The Lanai: Accessible from the kitchen or from the driveway around the curved white brick wall. Features vintage MCM Homecrest outdoor furniture, plants, outdoor twinkling lights for mood and a Vintage MCM Bar (currently under restoration). There is also a door on opposite side of the kitchen that is access to the garage. The Garage: We have a two door garage but it is currently used for storage and a workspace for restoration projects. We have all kinds of tools 🧰! Please let us know if there is anything you need. Parking: You are welcome to park in the driveway next to our Big Green Jeep, or you can park on the street wherever you like. There is a security camera focused on the driveway just for added safety. Our neighborhood: “The Greene” is a private HOA neighborhood. It is quiet, clean, well kept, and neighbors are mostly all elderly but very friendly. This is a VERY SAFE neighborhood with considerate and supportive neighbors. We are walking distance to a Walmart Supercenter with gas station and pharmacy. Also walking distance to two additional gas stations, two Car Washes, EV charging station, Little Ceasar’s Pizza, Chipotle, McDonald’s, Duncan Donuts, nail salon, and an Urgent Care. There are three schools nearby one to the north, south and east of us. Our location provides quick access to the freeways and without traffic- you can get to downtown Dallas in about 15 minutes. We are also close to several parks, Joe pool lake, cedar hill national park, the police station and fire station. We are in a prime location for any kind of deliveries; Walmart, DoorDash, uber eats, etc. Guest access Side Door: (around the white brick wall) entrance to the kitchen. Keypad code Front Door: Green doors, security camera doorbell. We usually go in and out through the side kitchen door behind the white brick wall. During your stay Hosts (Ben & Cortney) live in the house full time in the master room with our pets (all very friendly and loving) who usually stay with us in the room while we have visitors with the exception of meal time and bathroom breaks. We look forward to greeting you and giving you a quick tour on arrival so please let us know when to expect you so we can make sure to be ready and available. Depending on your comfort level we may spend some time in the common area with the dogs watching tv/cooking and relaxing and you are welcome to join us. We want you to have privacy and be comfortable so we usually keep to ourselves but don’t hesitate to text us as anytime if you have any questions or needs. Other things to note Additional sleeping area available (Queen pullout put sofa bed, futon, and inflatable mattress). Please request ahead of time.
