Welcome to Jack's Cabin by AvantStay. Perched on a wooded hillside above Townsend, this Smoky Mountain retreat trades the crowds for long ridgeline views, warm wood interiors, and a porch made for slow mornings. 🛁 King + queen suites, each with an ensuite (jacuzzi tub in the primary) 🔥 Stone fireplace, fire pit, and hot tub under the trees 🌄 Screened porch with rocking chairs and treetop views 🌲 7 min to downtown Townsend, 9 min to two park entrances The space Sits on its own slice of wooded hillside with long mountain views, warm wood-wrapped interiors, and everything you need to completely decompress. Downtown Townsend sits about 7 minutes away, and two park entrances are roughly 9 minutes from the door. Step inside and the open-concept main level sets the tone. Vaulted ceilings with exposed wood beams, oversized windows pulling in natural light and treetop views, a living room anchored by a stone fireplace for cold-weather nights, and a full kitchen with a dining table that seats six — it's a comfortable, lived-in space that feels genuinely welcoming rather than staged. Two bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bath, give everyone their own breathing room: a king suite on the main level (with a jetted jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower in the bath) and a queen upstairs, plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for extra guests. Outside is where the cabin really earns its keep. A wraparound screened porch with rocking chairs keeps you connected to the trees without the bugs. Slip into the hot tub under a canopy of branches, gather around the fire pit as the air cools and the stars come out, and let the quiet of the hillside do its thing. It's the kind of outdoor setup that turns a long weekend into the thing everyone talks about for months. Townsend itself is the slow-living counterpart to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg — tubing on the Little River, the Townsend Wye swimming hole, scenic drives through Cades Cove, and easy access to some of the park's best hiking without the crowds. When you're ready for a livelier day, Pigeon Forge and Dollywood are a scenic 30-minute drive over the mountain. AvantStay provides a personalized hospitality experience to elevate your stay.
