Enjoy a peaceful stay overlooking beautiful Cheat Lake in this private 1-bedroom, 1-bath, apartment above a detached garage on a shared residential property. The apartment is entirely yours & includes a kitchen with cooking appliances, washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, and shared parking with the resident. Enjoy lake views from the dock (no lake access) and easy access to parks, trails, restaurants, shopping, WVU, and local attractions. AWD is recommended all year round due to the narrow road. The space This is a shared property, as the Airbnb is attached to the owner's personal garage. However, you will have your own private entrance with a completely contactless check-in, allowing you to come and go at your convenience. While your space is entirely separate, there is a chance you may see the owner around the property during your stay. An AWD or 4WD vehicle is strongly recommended. The property is located near the lake and is accessed by a winding gravel road, followed by a steep concrete driveway. During the winter months, snow and ice can make the driveway challenging, so AWD/4WD is required for safe access. Guest access Guests have full access to the Airbnb and can enjoy the beautiful lake views from the property. If you'd like to spend some time relaxing on the private dock, please ask the owner first. The dock is for sitting and enjoying the scenery only—boats, kayaks, paddleboards, swimming, and other water activities are not permitted, as it is privately owned. If you're looking to get out on the water, you'll find public lake access just minutes away.
