Come enjoy our Timber Ridge luxury townhome, just minutes from the slopes! Enjoy 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a gourmet kitchen, large bar, and spacious living area. Walk to the lifts or take the free Kirkwood shuttle. Kirkwood has more services during the ski season, but the summer access to the sierras cant be beat! IMPORTANT: Only 2 parking spaces are guaranteed during ski season. Please plan accordingly, as additional parking is not guaranteed. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING. The space Relax and enjoy your stay with friends and family in our spacious, luxury slopeside townhome. The main level features a large fully stocked gourmet kitchen with granite counters and 2 sinks, a bar that seats 8 and large dining room table suited for families or large groups, and relaxing open style family room with smart TV and gas fireplace. Wake up to sip coffee while overlooking the beautiful red cliffs, and after a busy day chill out by the fire place or grill on our deck while taking in sunset views of the mountains. The master bedroom with king bed, smart TV, and full bath with jacuzzi tub is privately located on the second floor. There is a washer and dryer with detergent provided on the second floor, to provide all the conveniences of your own home. The downstairs has another master bedroom with a queen size bed and full bath, and the 3rd bedroom contains 2 twin bunks and trundle bed with full bath. An additional twin sleeper sofa bed is available in the family room. Practical touches for the outdoor enthusiast include organization baskets and hooks for outdoor gear, helmets and jackets in the downstairs hallway. The 2-car tandem garage (it is a snug fit) protects your vehicles from being buried in our infamous snow storms, and boot warmers keep your ski boots cozy for the start of your ski day. If you’re traveling with additional cars, there is a parking area nearby off site since overnight street parking at Kirkwood is prohibited. We provide the comforts of home with fully stocked kitchenware, Insta-pot, rice maker, trash compacter, and a coffee maker supplied with coffee, sugar, and tea. Personal necessities are also provided including shampoo and conditioner/body wash, laundry detergent, hand soap, dish soap and fresh linens and towels. Guest access Guest access is through either the downstairs garage or the upstairs front door, each with key pads for contactless entry. Other things to note Weather & Winter Travel Kirkwood is a beautiful, remote mountain destination and winter storms can impact travel. Highway 88 may experience temporary closures at Carson Spur or Carson Pass. Please check Caltrans road conditions before traveling and come prepared with winter emergency essentials. During storms, AWD/4WD and/or chains may be required depending on current road restrictions. Refunds due to snowstorms, weather conditions, or temporary road closures are subject to our standard Airbnb cancellation policy. We highly recommend purchasing travel or trip interruption insurance when booking. Parking during ski season There is only two guaranteed overnight parking spaces in the private garage. The space is tight and will accommodate decent size cars, no large vans or trucks. All other day parking is subject to Kirkwoods reservation system.
