Rare dedicated parking spot right in front. Clean, comfortable, & charming. The space As travellers ourselves, we work hard to make Irish Channel Guest House as welcoming as possible. We take pride in offering a clean, comfortable home for you to relax in between outings. This is not a corporate "cookie-cutter" short term rental. This is our home while we visit our family in New Orleans. We've slowly renovated it over the years but there's always more to do. We hope you'll enjoy visiting as much as we do! The neighborhood is very walk-able and close to public transit. We're 4 blocks from famous Magazine St and all it has to offer. Because of its central location, the Irish Channel is one of the most popular neighborhoods in the city. You'll be close to everything but still be able to relax and unwind in a peaceful and charming part of town. Guest access The house is one side of a ranch style duplex, built in the 1960's. It's not a shotgun layout so the bedrooms are private. The primary room is at the back of the house. The smaller bedroom is just off the hallway, between the bathroom and the primary. If you need a 3rd bedroom, the living room couch pulls out into a plush queen size bed. There is a dedicated parking spot right in front and a small shared backyard. Other things to note A Photo ID is required and must match the name of the Payee. Parties are not permitted. Day guests are limited to 3 people. We welcome month to month renters such as traveling nurses and contract workers. Please contact me for long-term rates. What you see on Airbnb's website may not be the actual price for long stays.
