We fell in love with this A-frame chalet and have upgraded it in 2025 with refinished hardwood floors, a gas fireplace with a limewashed stone surround, quartz kitchen counters with a fresh white tile backsplash, and clean Scandinavian/ mid-century modern furnishings. While we don't live on site ourselves, a full-time resident host does, in an attached unit, and is close by if you ever need anything -your space remains completely private and exclusively yours throughout your stay. The space The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in after a day on the slopes or at the lake, and the open living/dining area - with its expansive view onto the deck and surrounding forest - is our favorite spot to unwind by the fire. 2 bedrooms available for guest use, sleeps up to 4 - plus a third bedroom used for owner storage. 2 full bathrooms, each with its own shower, toilet, and vanity - one on the first floor, one on the second. Parking: 4 onsite spaces Guest access We'll provide you with a door code for easy access to the chalet, and you'll have excellent WiFi with streaming services and a large TV. Your space is private and exclusively yours during your stay. Our resident host lives on site but will not enter your space unless you request assistance or in the rare case of an emergency. Please make use of the driveway for parking, especially in winter conditions. During your stay, the deck off the living/dining area is yours to enjoy. Other things to note Welcome! A little about chalet living: this home is a true A-frame chalet, so there's no insulated buffer between the ceiling above you and the floor above it - you may hear some creaking as people move about overhead. Otherwise, sound travels through this home much like any other. • This is a Hosted Home Rental, permitted through El Dorado County (Permit 083166). A resident host lives on site full-time, as required by the county's short-term rental program. • No events are permitted at this property (per county permit conditions). • Outdoor wood or briquette fires are not allowed at any time; gas appliances may not be used during red flag warning conditions. • Quiet hours: restricted between 10:00 PM-8:00 AM per county rules. We've put a lot of love into our home, and we hope that comes through in your stay.
