Displayed in the cabin is a full-scale replica of The General, one of the most extraordinary whitetail deer ever discovered. The original antlers were naturally shed by a wild Nebraska whitetail in 1959 and are a beautiful example of what we like to call God’s art. The General’s remarkable story is now featured in Antler Craze, the documentary that tells the incredible journey of these famous antlers and the people connected to them. Elevation 2317 is just 9 miles to Pigeon Forge & 16 miles to Gatlinburg, this spacious 5BR getaway features an open kitchen + living area, 2 main-level primary bedrooms, each with ensuite bath and an additional 2 bedrooms in the upstairs level. There is plenty of room for multiple families. Kids will love the bunk beds in the bunk room, game console, Air Hockey, and private indoor heated pool. Parents can relax on the deck with outdoor dining, soak in the hot tub, or gather for movie night on the big screen. Every level offers cozy spaces and views of nature to make family memories unforgettable. Space Layout: - 4,006 Sq feet with 5 bedrooms, 5 full baths and 2 half baths - Bedroom 1 has a king bed with a full private bath - Bedroom 2 has a king bed with a full private bath -Bedroom 3 has a king bed with a full private bath -Bedroom 4 has king bed with a full private bath -Bedroom 5 has Queen over Queen bunks -There is a queen pull out couch in the lower living room and pullout in the main living room Features: - Hot tub to relax in after a day of hiking. -Theatre chairs and TV in downstairs living room for movie night or Football night -TVs with Roku in all the bedrooms -Propane fire pit -Drip coffee maker and a Kurig (BYO coffee and KCups) -All the kitchen supplies you need to cook a meal. (BYO food and condiments) Guest access You will be provided a door code specific to you before check-in. No need to meet anyone for keys. You get the whole house and back decks to yourselves. The main entrance is at the front of the cabin as you pull into the driveway. Each vehicle must be registered with the front gate in order to enter. Registration for each vehicle requires the name, phone number and email for each driver of the vehicle. The cabin is on a paved mountain road. While 4 wheel drive is not needed most of the time, we do 100% suggest it if there is snow. Other things to note -Guest must be 18+ to book this cabin -NO PARTIES -20 Humans Max -Private parking for up to 5 vehicles -This is a no smoking property. If you smoke inside, there will be an additional fee of $1000 minimum to remove the smoke smell. -As much as we love our furry children, there are no pets allowed at the cabin. If you bring a pet, you will be asked to leave immediately and be charged a $500 fee. -We provide an initial supply of toilet paper and paper towels but you might need to purchase more if you have a longer stay. -There are bears that live in Tennessee. You may see one during your travels in the Smoky Mountains. If you see one, do not approach it and do not feed them. We want them to remain in nature away from humans and not feeding them helps accomplish that. Please also make sure your car is locked at all times. They like to get in vehicles and know how to open car doors. -There is a bear proof bin that the trash cans are located in by the driveway. Please place your trash in the cans, inside the bin. -The house is on well water. It is safe to drink but if you are used to city water we recommend you bring bottled water. -If you are pregnant or have been drinking, we recommend you do not use the hot tub. -We can not accommodate late check-out or early Check-in. We pride ourselves in having a clean cabin for you to stay in so we must give our cleaning team enough time to do their job in between guests. -We have an owners closet located off the theatre room on the bottom level. This has a key pad lock on it and houses all our extra supplies. Please do not mess with the key pad. -If you are late to check out, we reserve the right to charge $2.00 per minute past your scheduled 10AM checkout. -A lot of people have sensitive skin so we ask that you bring your own soaps, shampoos and toiletries. - Our kitchen is stocked with the essential cookware but we do not provide condiments, paper plates, etc. You can pick up your favorite condiments at the local country store, or the nearby Walmart. -At our home, you can enjoy nature at its finest. We are on a comprehensive pest control program with regular treatments by a local professional but our location means that you may have experiences with critters of the 4, 6 or 8 legged variety. To help ensure they stay outside, please keep the doors closed at all times. -The cabin is on a paved mountain road but you might encounter some steep hills during your drive. We recommend 4 wheel drive when traveling in the Great Smoky Mountains although it is not needed if you know how to navigate driving in the mountains.
