A historic Uptown home with turquoise blue Caribbean flair. Apartment is newly renovated but maintains original Southern charm. 100+ year old oaks and beautiful magnolias line the property. Centrally located and walking distance from Tulane University, streetcars and a number of great restaurants. All the amenities of home: private entrance, fully stocked kitchen (incl. Keurig & coffee), 50" curved 4k tv, queen sleeper sofa, and a king size Leesa bed! We hope you love it as much as we do!. The space Step into the charm of New Orleans in this inviting "raised basement" unit, offering ground-level convenience with cozy, historic touches. Of course, there are no "basements" in New Orleans - this term simply refers to the ceiling height. The ceilings are 7 feet high. While most guests find the ceiling height perfectly comfortable and that contributes to the coziness of the apartment, we want to ensure transparency so you can plan your stay with confidence. Conveniently situated at the rear of the home, the unit opens directly to a spacious, fully fenced backyard -perfect for relaxing or enjoying a quiet moment outdoors. Six windows flood the space with natural light, ensuring the unit feels bright and inviting. This private retreat offers a blend of character, comfort, and modern convenience, ideal for travelers looking for easy access to everything the city has to offer Guest access During your stay, you’ll have exclusive access to the entire apartment, ensuring complete privacy and comfort. You will also have access to a shared laundry room - perfect for longer stays or freshening up after exploring the city. Only one other apartment uses the shared laundry room. Of course, the door to the laundry room is lockable allowing you to use it confidently and securely during your visit. You’ll also have access to the spacious, fully fenced backyard—an inviting space to relax, enjoy a coffee, or have a quiet moment under the open sky. Other things to note Parking: while there is no off-street parking (not uncommon in New Orleans), you will find ample street parking directly in front of the house. Guests have never had an issue finding a spot, and the area is well-lit. Street parking is completely free and doesn't require a permit. Registration Details 24-NSTR-10715, 26-OSTR-10183
