St Charles Avenue is the main parade route and it is 1 block parallel your street, Carondelet. Most people get up early, fight the traffic to park blocks away, bring their food and drinks in ice chests and wait in line for portable toilets. Not your group! You'll simply walk 1 short block to watch the parade go by, then come home for a drink or the bathroom or whatever, and pop back onto the "route" in minutes.
