Thunderhead Mountain Expanse (*Breathtaking View!)

An Incredible view of Thunderhead Mountain and The Great Smoky Mountains, this 2400sq. ft. cabin is ideal for family getaways. Minutes from Pigeon Forge and Dollywood Theme Park as well as beautiful Cades Cove and Gatlinburg. Enjoy the quiet side of the Smokies in Townsend, TN just off Wears Valley Road. With 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths it's spacious enough for 10 people. Amenities include new hot tub, pool table, fireplace, charcoal grill, WiFi, and large deck with breathtaking panoramic views. The space There are three floors to our cabin. Upstairs is the private master suite with a king bed and its own access to a full bathroom. This bedroom also has a sleeper sofa. Also upstairs is the loft that has a semi private queen bedroom with access to the master suite bathroom. The main floor has the private master bedroom with a king bed and its own full bathroom will duel shower heads and double vanity. Just off the kitchen on that same level is the half bath. On the lower level there is a private bedroom with a queen bed. The lower level also has a full bathroom, a game room, a set of twin bunk beds, and a futon in the den area with access to the patio and hot tub. So in summary there are two king beds, two queen beds, a set of twin bunk beds, and a sleeper sofa. There are full bathrooms on each level with an additional half bath on the main level. The road to our cabin is nice but is fairly steep in some places. We can’t control Mother Nature and sometimes the roads may become slippery. We do have road salt service if there is snow in the forecast. The cabin is located towards the end of our road with limited room to turn around. The driveway and parking area is adequate for 3-4 cars. Also, Black Bears are prevalent in the Smoky Mountains. We ask guests to not leave food of any kind out or in unlocked cars. There is a garbage cage on site but please be aware bears are very smart and always looking for food! Our fireplace is gas and is turned off during the warmer months to prevent the AC from freezing up.
