The space The Nest in the Heart of the City is a charming, light-filled apartment on the 11th floor of the historic Elektra Condominiums, where Downtown, Capitol Hill and First Hill meet. Enjoy west-facing views over Seattle and down onto the Convention Center, with afternoon sunlight filtering through the treetops. Flexible sleeping arrangements make The Nest ideal for couples, families, friends or colleagues traveling together. Both bedrooms can be configured with either a king bed or two extra-long twin beds, and two additional floor mattresses are available for larger groups. You can tailor the setup to your group’s needs. Built in 1947, the Elektra has plenty of history, but the apartment was beautifully remodeled in 2023. New oak flooring was installed with salvaged old-growth Douglas fir trim, the bathroom was upgraded, and the entire apartment received fresh paint. The result is stunning! We clean with eco-friendly, scent-free products and keep plants throughout the apartment. Perfect if you're sensitive to fragrances or simply appreciate a healthier-feeling space. The location is hard to beat. The Seattle Convention Center is just steps away, and downtown attractions, theaters, cafés and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The Paramount Theatre, ACT Theatre and Town Hall are nearby, while Capitol Hill's nightlife and Broadway are just a stroll away. Link light rail and Metro bus routes make it easy to explore Seattle without a car. if you do drive, you have a dedicated parking space for the duration of your stay.
