Rest for the wicked... or those in need of rest!

A cozy room in my modest, but comfortable, home in an old, well established, residential, friendly and quiet neighborhood. And a shaded front porch to sit on out of the sun. I’m out of the thick of it but within 5 miles or a 15 minute Uber/Lyft of everything you could want/need. The Universities and medical facilities are within easy reach so ideal for traveling nurses, visiting faculty or those here for care. The space A very cozy, but bright room with a queen size, very comfortable, gel-memory-foam mattress to rest and refresh in my 100+ year old home. The home has been renovated, and is still being improved by me, but comes with its charms and yes quirks. Chefs kitchen, high speed internet throughout, Netflix, HBOMax, Hulu, Disney+ and Amazon etc. streaming for your enjoyment on a 65 inch TV with a great surround sound system in the main living room or via your laptop in the privacy of the guest room. Great neighbors in an out of the thick of it neighborhood that is overall quiet and safe. On site free parking for vehicles. And all within 5 miles or a 15 Uber/Lyft ride to everything you could want or need. There is the option of a second bedroom to accommodate a total of four guests available on a limited basis. I am proud to also be a LGBTQ+ welcoming home! Guest access Guests will have access to the main living area, kitchen, front yard and porch and the large fenced in back yard with separate side entrance. During your stay I love to interact with my guests but also happy to give them their privacy as needed or desired. Other things to note Yes I did have a big lovable dog here and his picture will remain, but sadly he needed to rest after 13 years of amazing companionship and so will only be here in spirit and memory! I now have a new lovable pup member of the household. She is a 9 month old (as of October 2026) Labrador and excited to meet everyone. You can see two pictures of her in the photos and I will post more as she grows in time. Also, yes, I do allow guests to bring their dog with them to stay. If you are coming to stay with any other type of pet than a dog, I must know ahead of time as the environment might not be the best situation.
