Recent renovation of 1890's "cottage" by experienced Superhost in one of the best, safest, most walkable neighborhoods in NOLA! 1600 sf apartment incl. 2 king bedrooms, 2 full marble baths, fully equipped kitchen, and private entrance under a canopy of majestic live oaks. Walk to Tulane, Loyola, Maple and Oak Streets, Audubon Park, Zoo and MS River bike and jogging paths. Or hop on St. Charles Streetcar in front of house for direct ride to Garden District, Canal St and French Quarter! The space This apartment comprises the entire ground floor of a large (4700 sf ) historic cottage in Uptown New Orleans which was renovated in 2019. Highlights include two new marble baths, freestanding soaker tub, full kitchen (w/dishwasher, disposal and hood), 2 king bedrooms with high-end mattresses and sumptuous wool carpets, upscale furnishings, new plank floors, loads of art, private laundry, and new sofa sleeper with Dreamquest mattress and memory foam topper. Private entry with keypad entry under a huge canopy of live oak trees. The owner tried to think of literally everything he could to make your visit to NOLA a comfortable and enjoyable one! Although this unit is new again to Airbnb (welcoming guests in Jan 2023) guests are welcome to read the reviews from prior guests (or for my last property and can rest assured that this new unit is only nicer)! Keurig w/Starbucks or Peet’s provided. Guest access Guests access their apartment through their own street entrance with four digit code keypad entry. Guests are invited to relax or grill in rear patio (occasionally shared by owner!) Other things to note I try to bend over backwards to accommodate early check-ins. As far as I’m concerned, if the apartment is clean, guests can arrive as early as they’d like! On the rare days where I have a same-day turnover (where a guest checks out on the same day a new guest will be checking in), I must insist on the Airbnb default 3 PM check-in time simply so that my housekeeper has a full four hours to clean the apartment. In that event, I can offer guests with a safe secure location to drop their bags, get supplies and begin exploring the city and will text them the second the unit is ready, and can guarantee it will be no later than 3 pm.
