The Deep Soaking Tub Suite with AC

Our private “mother-in-law” suite AIRBNB has it all! A private entrance, AC/Heat, warm modern decor, a deep soaking tub, super fast Wifi, a comfy Queen size bed and a romantic electric fireplace! Super clean per CDC guidelines. 7 minutes to SEATAC airport and 20 minutes to Downtown. Beautiful Japanese garden. Perfect for a staycation, a work-from-home alternative, extended visits or overnights away from the kids! Plenty of parking! Electronic locks. Late arrivals welcomed. The space Welcome to the Serenity Suite, with a private entrance via our lavish Japanese style landscaped back yard, a koi pond and waterfalls, reflecting path and large deck with BBQ, outside table and covered lounging area. Entering the private french door entrance, you will first be in the coffee room with sitting area, your own private bathroom and "kitchenette" containing a refrigerator, filtered water, microwave, electric hot water pot, and a Keurig coffee maker. Being in Seattle, we offer a great selection of coffee blends and tea. From here, you enter your modern elegantly decorated large 15x15 bedroom. With romantic flickering candles, a comfy pillow-top queen size mattress, streaming tv, and high speed wireless internet, and an electric fireplace. In January 2023, we tripled the size of the bathroom, adding a beautiful deep soaking tub, imported tile, and dramatic lighting. Privacy curtains are hung with crystal embellishments for bathroom privacy. We also added a fancy bidet attachment. We also had the plumbing rebuilt in January 2023, so reviews before 2023 that reference low water pressure no longer apply! Plenty of water pressure! We’ve also added an Amazon Echo Alexa, for listening to music, weather reports, and lots of other fun! (Instructions to disable are next to the unit, in case you don’t feel comfortable with a smart device). Please be assured we’re taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations using appropriate cleaning solutions. Guest access Guests have access to the backyard, with its beautiful Japanese style landscaping, huge deck with comfortable places to relax, a teak table and chairs (which lived on a cruise ship for first two years of their life!) for outdoor dining, multi-tiered waterfall and koi pond, and a Webber BBQ (please let us know in advance so we can prepare utensils, plates and silverware). Other things to note We installed a super quiet ductless air-conditioning (for summers) /heating system into the room, for your total comfort. Most houses in Seattle don't have AC, but the Serenity Suite does! As of January 2023, there is no wall between the bathroom and the bedroom, but privacy curtains are available. The bathroom has a luxurious soaking tub, and with a hand spray wand. There is not a separate stand up shower. We have 2 very friendly pups: Molly the momma pug, and her daughter Squeak. They will most likely come visit you when you arrive (happy barking and tails wagging) and we just ask that you double check that the back gate is shut tight each time you go in and out, to keep the pups safe and secure. We always keep the room ready for guests, and have a code lock, so we don't even have to be home for your arrival! This creates the best flexibility for our guests. Late night arrivals and last minute bookings are totally cool! Need a room tonight and it's available? Instant book! Washer/Dryer is available ($5 per load including detergent, bleach, liquid softer and dryer sheets). Please ask in advance so we can make sure its prepared for your use. I am very familiar with the cruise departures/arrivals and can definitely offer some great advice if you are going on a cruise! I can also help planning your visiting plan, including some great "secrets" here in Seattle! For registrations with 1/2 guests, the use of the Queen bed with fresh sheets, blankets and pillows is included. If you would like to use an Aerobed (for 2 guests booked), please inquire prior to booking, as there is an additional fee. Please do not smoke or vape inside. Thanks!
