Broad Creek Retreat near National Harbor/MGM

The guest suite is the basement of our house and it's located in a quiet neighborhood at a short distance to Washington DC, to National Harbor/MGM Casino, and to Alexandria (Virginia). It's perfect if you plan on attending a conference/convention at the Gaylord hotel at National Harbor, visiting the MGM Casino, or temporarily working in the area. The house is a waterfront property - It is oriented south - plenty of light. The space The space is the basement of our home but the entrance is private and the guests can enjoy this space independently from us. The windows (bedroom and living space) are facing the Potomac (waterfront property) and it's a very relaxing view, especially when you have the sun reflecting on the water. It's located in a residential area (quiet) at a short distance to Washington DC (15-20 min), MGM/National Harbor (10 min) or even Alexandria/Old town, VA (15-20 min). It's 5 min away from Tanger outlets National Harbor (shopping). You can find many restaurants/bars in a 5 miles radius (especially at the National Harbor or the MGM casino/hotel). The space has one bedroom (queen bed and walking closet) and a living space where you can enjoy a family room area (couch, chair and television/cable with Netflix and Youtube), a food corner (fridge, microwave, coffee machine, table) and an entertainment area (pool table). For the groups with more than 2 guests, we have 2 extra beds (a double bed and a queen air mattress) available. You also have access to a private bathroom with a faucet, a bathtub/shower and a toilet. You can find a hair dryer and an iron available to you if needed. Guest access Guests can access the basement through a private entrance. The basement space is not shared with anyone. You have total use of the space. We are here to make your stay more enjoyable if you need anything. For instance, there's no control of the thermostat in the basement but we can easily adjust it for you if you are too warm or too cold. Communication is easy. Other things to note There are two young children living above and there may be some occasional noise but nothing outside 8 am - 9 pm. Also there is no access to the heat and A/C system by the guests. But if you feel the temperature is too high or too cold, you can send me a message or call me and I will update the settings.
