Aloha Heavenly in Tahoe- simply walk across the street to ski/snowboard at Heavenly! Enjoy private access to the entire first floor of our condo. There are 2 bedrooms cozy gas fireplace, porch, outdoor shared hot tub, off-street parking, and central heat. Each room has a flat screen TV. Very comfy and convenient for 2 people max. Our condo is an end unit in a quiet, wooded area. Just a few minutes & 1.5 miles to Heavenly Village, casinos, beaches, dining, and shopping. The space Please send us a "request to book" - this is easy to do and helps us avoid calendar conflicts. Include brief info about your group, please include vaccination and booster dates. If you are not vaccinated, or do not provide dates, we will not be able to host you at this time. Sorry. We can usually approve an inquiry within an hour. NO ANIMALS -Due to allergies, we are unable to host ANY pets/animals. This INCLUDES assistance animals (service animals). Thank you. ------------------- GENERAL INFO ------------------- Your rental space has a private entrance with digital lock, and total living areas is 480 sq. feet. We live upstairs and are a quiet, mature couple. The only shared space is a small hallway after you've entered the front door. Your space has a queen size bed and a queen size sofa bed, and TVs with Roku device, Netflix and more, in each room. There is a kitchenette (not a full kitchen), fireplace, private deck, central heating, closet, coffee table, shelves, and dresser. The bathroom is fully tiled, with a shower and new fixtures. Both bedrooms are carpeted for a little extra warmth. ------------------- ROOM DETAILS ------------------- ----------- Main BR ----------- The main BR has a queen bed, closet, hangers, nightstand, shelves, and 40" TV. There is new bedding, 4 pillows, and comforter with duvet cover. There is extra bedding and blankets. ------------------------- Large BR / Family Room ------------------------- The larger BR is more like a family room (see pics) with an Ikea L-shaped sofa that can easily be opened up for sleeping. This room is bright and sunny with many windows and a sliding glass door that leads to your private back porch with chairs, cushions, and small table. It also has a 50" TV, cozy gas fireplace, large coffee table, and a 7-drawer dresser for your clothes. The coffee table slides easily out of the way so you can open up the sofa. Once opened, the sofa can be made up as a queen bed -- there are sheets, pillows, and comforter with duvet cover. The larger BR has : a small fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker, with some dishes, cups, and utensils. We provide some condiments and some coffee, tea, and drinking water to get you started. ------------ Bathroom ------------ The bathroom is small, and fully tiled with nice fixtures. There are 2 sets of new towels as well as extra towels for the hot tub and other uses. The full-size shower has sliding glass doors and very hot water, but sorry - there is no tub. The sink with large granite countertop and large mirror, is located between the bedrooms and bathroom. We provide sponges, dish soap, dish towels, paper towels, spare batteries, extension cords, flashlights, lighters, and a blow dryer. -------- TVs -------- The TV's are both flat screens with WiFi and HDMI inputs, connected to new Roku Express 4K+ boxes. You can log in with your Roku account. If you don't have an account, you can still watch the Roku channel, Netflix, and other free channels with no account required. Most streaming channels are available by logging in with your own credentials, for example HBO, Showtime, etc... You can also use your laptop or phone to cast to TV via WiFi (may depend on your device). We have HDMI cables available. ----------------- PREPARATION ----------------- No shoes/boots are allowed in the bedrooms, so please bring slippers or socks to wear inside if needed. You may want to bring headphones/earbuds for listening to music, as well as your favorite personal items such as soap, conditioner, shampoo, condiments, etc. We provide these items in small sizes/quantities for convenience only. Coffee, tea, and water are provided for convenience and won't be enough for your entire stay. ------------- CHECK-IN / OUT ------------- **Check in time is 3pm and must be completed by 10pm** **Check out time is 11am** We need plenty of time to clean and disinfect. Please let us know in your inquiry if you need an exception to these times...we will try to accommodate you. We will message you detailed instructions before you check-in. -------------------------------------------------- Condo, Homeowner, and City of S. Lake Tahoe House Rules -------------------------------------------------- By booking our space, you are agreeing to the following the Condo HOA, City, and Homeowner rental rules. Thank you for your understanding and agreeing to them. * Absolutely no pets or animals allowed including service or assistance animals! We have allergies. * You must be vaccinated , recently (see booking inquiry, above) * Absolute quiet time here is 10pm to 5am. Sound travels easily between floors. * Check in to be completed by 10PM * Hot tub is closed from 9pm to 8am * Please be quiet - we are living above you - we will do the same for you * No people (friends, guests, visitors are allowed in the unit unless they are named/listed in your original booking request * Occupancy: 2 persons maximum * No open flames (candles, camp stoves, etc) or electric cooking appliances ⁷ * No smoking or vaping in the unit, on the deck, or on the front steps * No illegal drugs * You MUST be 25 years of age to book and stay here * Your ID and account name must match in order to book * Music is not allowed not via speakers, please use headphones/earbuds ------------------------------- A QUIET PLACE FOR ALL -------------------------------- We hope to attract mellow, quiet guests! We are an elderly couple, and sound travels easily between the first and second floors. We live right above your rental space, and go to sleep around 9:30 PM. We've only had 2 incidents with guests talking loudly, laughing, late at night, and we could not sleep. If this will pose a problem for you then please choose another place to stay. Thank you! ------------------------------- PARTYING NOT TOLERATED INFO -------------------------------- In addition, please understand that this is definitely not a place for partying! Your rental space is within a condo complex, with other guests and full-time residents close by. Neighbors are quick to report excessive noise and partying to the local authorities. And, as mentioned, we live right above your rental space. This has rarely been an issue, and we must let you know about it to keep it that way. Per the permit, we need to inform you that Tahoe authorities may issue fines of $1,000 without warning, for rule violations like excessive noise, over-occupancy, and drugs. Authorities may evict guests for serious infractions. We can be fined, and have our permit revoked. Clearly, this is not what we want and we don't mean to scare you. None of these things have happened, and will not happen as long as you understand and abide with the rules above. We have the new 2022 short term rental permit (the only type) for S. Lake Tahoe. The owner must reside in the unit. Renting an entire condo is no longer allowed. We will be glad to answer any questions. Please help us keep our new hosted rental permit! ------------------------------- FINAL WORDS FOR GUESTS -------------------------------- For those who want to enjoy S. Lake Tahoe without partying, we hope you have a quiet, mellow stay while in our while in our rental space. Come to enjoy the mountain, lake, beaches, family, friends, dining, shopping, as well as the peace and quiet. Heavenly village and so many more activities are close by, including ice skating, live music, and more. We ask that you please read our ENTIRE listing in detail so we meet your expectations and do not disappoint you. Guest access Access to the condo is up 5 stairs with handrails. You have shared access to the hot tub. There are 3 private condo parking lots reserved for owners and guests. Parking spots are a (very) short walk to our front door for easy loading/unloading. During your stay I am always available during your stay for answers and help, but our degree of interaction will up to you. Other things to note We are probably the closest condo to access Heavenly CA base (Tram, Gunbarrel chairlift, and lodge) - it's right across the street! Heavenly CA base also has ski lockers, retail store, winter gear rental, dining, and tuning/repair shop. Child care and first time/beginner lessons are located only here, not by the gondola/village. Please check out the Heavenly website for more info. Our space will suit people who plan/prefer to dine out, enjoying the many awesome restaurants and atmosphere in the area. Some guests have used DoorDash to have meals delivered. Kirkwood, Northstar, Sierra-at-Tahoe, Palisades, Sugarbowl, Homewood, and other Tahoe ski resorts are just a 1-2 hour drive away. We want to meet your needs and expectations, so please ask any questions before booking or during your stay. Space - there isn't a huge amount of table, closet, or counter space here. ---------------------------------------- PRICING, CALENDAR, CLEANING ---------------------------------------- Keep in mind that our pricing includes a 12% occupancy tax that we must pay directly to the City of S. Lake Tahoe. Due to COVID (see updates above), we take cleaning very seriously, although it's time consuming and expensive. You may see available dates get blocked, so we can perform professional cleaning and disinfecting between bookings.
