Cherokee Ridge Cabin is located in Townsend , known as the Gateway to the Smoky Mountain National Park.. Even though you are less than a half mile away from the Little River , and Lamar Alexander Parkway, you feel as though you're secluded from the busy world. We have just finished refurbishing ,with new carpet, tile, all new beds and mattresses , sofa, smart TV, oven, refrigerator stove, sinks and a lot more. The space Our family cabin is designed for outdoor enthusiasts and family mountain adventures . This is a non-smoking pet free environment . Nestled in the woods on Bradley Mountain, you can sit on the front porch or gather around the fire pit to experience the mountain view . . Our secluded hot tub is off the lower deck and provides you a showcase of stars . .Enjoy our fire pit across from the cabin for an even closer view of the mountains and sunsets .. Cherokee Ridge is a great choice for families or couples. The Little River , which is .3 of a mile from our cabin and has pubic river access runs throughout the city of Townsend. There is a 5 mile paved bike trail that takes you to an entrance of the Smoky Mountain National Park.. We offer a free pool and fitness center membership at Wild Laurel Resort which is a less than a 3 mile drive from our cabin . Cabin Layout: Main level includes : Vaulted ceiling, wood burning fireplace, large flat screen Smart TV, Free Wifi, dinning area and kitchen open into the great room. Bedroom with a queen bed and full bath. Deck off the main level over looking the woods. Upper level: Two bedrooms , one with a King bed the other a with a queen (all new mattresses and beds) one half bath Lower Level Rec Room: air hockey, foosball , TV and comfortable seating area , one full bathroom, patio and path to the hot tub . Our cabin is located on a mountain ridge and there is a private road that a few cabins access further up the mountain . Guest access Guest will have access to the entire cabin, large wooded lot , and our fire pit is steps from the front porch . New and effective as of of March 9, 2026 Wild Laurel Pool is now charging a "resort fee" of $15 per adult & $10 per child each day. Even though we pay 1,000 yearly for Cherokee Ridge membership fee . This is the first year Wild Laurel Golf Resort& Pool has ever charged a 'Resort Fee" .for our guest . Other things to note 1.The cabin is on well water as most of the cabins in Townsend. 2.Our cabin is in a mountain community at the foothills of the Smoky Mountain National Park. Therefore, On rare occasions you may experience weather that can temporarily disrupt power.. 3. Our cabin has been dedicated as a pet and smoke free property for people with allergies in order to provide a safe environment for our guest. There will be a $500 fine plus damages for violation of these rules.
