Welcome to our family's TaHome in Christmas Valley. This large, 2150 sq foot mountain home is on 1/3 of an acre at the end of a cult-a-sac. Christmas Valley is a very beautiful, quiet, and local neighborhood, ideal for families who want to explore all Lake Tahoe has to offer. We are close enough to Lake Tahoe (10 mins), stateline/casinos (15 mins), Kirkwood, Sierra at Tahoe, and Heavenly. Our home has very strict rules as a vacation rental and is not a good fit for parties or large/loud groups. The space Our home was built in 1960's and includes a new furnace, new hot tub, new gas stainless steel oven and refrigerator, and personalized upgrades. Downstairs you will find a open family room with new LVP flooring, kitchen, breakfast nook, and wood-burning fireplace. There is also one large bedroom with a queen bed, and one restroom with a newly remodeled walk in shower downstairs. Upstairs you will find: three large bedrooms and a full restroom with a shower and tub. One of upstairs bedrooms includes a kids' room with: full size bunkbeds, games, a full size crib, changing table, pack-n-play, baby walker, and other baby supplies. Outside you will find a huge wrap around deck including a new hot tub under a covered gazebo that seats 8 people. There is also an enclosed dog yard for your pet. Our home is perfect for a family who wants to experience all that Tahoe offers, but still wants ample space to unwind and relax free from tourists. Christmas Valley is the best remote neighborhood for families in South Lake Tahoe without the nuisance of heavy weekend traffic from tourists. From our home, you can walk to the Truckee river, sled under the Echo Summit, hike up Hawley Grade, sit in waterfalls, and just generally take in the beauty of South Lake Tahoe. From the front deck, you can sit and relax with a drink while you watch your kiddos play at the end of our cul-de-sac, with zero cars and traffic. Other things to note There is only room for two cars to be parked in the driveway at the house, especially during the snow. The two car rule is firm.
