Creekside Cottage - A spacious, private suite!

Let our private suite be your home away from home for your next Austin trip! Located 12 miles south of downtown, we are close enough to enjoy the luxuries of the city as well as the relaxation that our country setting offers. Our suite is above our garage and sits amongst the treetops of a large Live Oak. We are located on a wet creek which is frequented by deer, ducks and Great Blue Herons to name a few. Aside from the peaceful setting we offer, our suite is private and spacious. The space Our suite was thoughtfully decorated to fit in with the transitional style of our home. Along with being aesthetically pleasing, you will enjoy the spacious and private layout. The suite is located above our semi attached garage and has its own private stairway and entry door. The suite boasts a full bathroom with tub, sizable living room, a kitchenette with a sink, mini fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker, a dining space and a private bedroom with a king bed. Sit back and relax and enjoy streaming cable, Netflix, Disney plus, Amazon Prime and HBO Max. (We are located within walking distance of The Hummingbird House event venue. It is located within our neighborhood and less than a half mile walk from the suite.) ***PLEASE READ*** *Because our suite is located above our garage, you are likely to hear noise from our vehicles pulling in or turning on, garage doors/entry doors opening/closing, from us being in our garage working, our kids playing outside, our dog barking, us listening to music on our outdoor speakers, doing lawn maintenance, etc. We are mindful of this when guests are present, but this is our primary residence, so we do live life! If you are looking for a silent getaway, our suite is unfortunately probably not the best fit. *When booking for more than two people, sheets, a blanket and two extra pillows are provided for the sleeper sofa. They are located in the pop-up chaise on the couch. Please only use these linens if you have reserved a booking for more than two. *Monday-Friday: there will be noise from garage door opening and closing at some point between 6:45-7:45am. Guest access There is one designated place in our driveway for guests to park in. The parking spot is directly next to the stairwell that leads to the suite. Please do NOT park in front of our neighbor's house for any reason. Please also make sure you fully pull into the designated suite parking spot so that the garage door is not blocked in any way. Please let us know if you will have more than 1 vehicle during your stay so that we can discuss additional parking. Other things to note All areas other than the guest suite and suite stairwell are private, non-shared spaces. Since this is part of our home, we do ask that only guests that are booked on the reservation be in the suite unless prior permission has been given. Please do not book here if you are planning on hosting people.
