VHR PERMIT: 072467 TOT: 071012 The space The living room has soaring ceilings and is centered by a built-in gas fireplace and a beautiful full size pool table. The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless appliances and an island with bar seating. Also upstairs is the master bedroom with master bath with jacuzzi tub, a deck, and a common area bathroom. Downstairs offers two bedrooms, additional living space area with a twin and full bed, a full bathroom and laundry room. Neighborhood is great for walking and biking with access to forest trails within 2 blocks. 10 mins drive to shops/supermarkets. 5 mins drive to town of Meyers. 10-15 mins drive to Heavenly Resort, restaurants, shops. 10-15 mins drive to Echo Summit Lake 30 mins drive to Emerald Bay. Other things to note Note: We have recording video/audio surveillance camera in the following areas : Viewing outside driveway, viewing outside front door, viewing inside of garage (to ensure garage is closed after guests check out). An audio noise meter is monitoring the exterior portion of front and back yard to alert us if noise is above the legal threshold. No noise outside after 10pm. - No noise on deck after 10pm - No noise outside front of house after 10pm Tahoe Local Rules are zero tolerance - any violation of the noise rule is a $1,000 fine for the guest. No Smoking No Candles. They are a fire hazard. No Pets No parties MAXIMUM ALLOWED CARS ALLOWED ON PROPERTY AT ANY TIME: 4 Cleaning Fees include in price: Included: starter kit of basic supplies such as basic towels for the maximum number of guests, shampoo, soap, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. *Pets - We do not allow pets. If you bring a pet, you will be liable for a $1000 fine Please understand that South Lake Tahoe is building a reputation as among the strictest towns in the nation in regards to Vacation Home Rental Ordinance Enforcement. Please understand we don't have anything to do with the creation and/or enforcement of laws by City and County Police and Sheriffs. We are here to help provide guidance to all our guests. If you follow the rules, most vacationers should have no problem. The following are heavily enforced rules by the City of South Lake Tahoe and El Dorado County. By booking a home, guest agrees to abide by: 1. Strict limitations on # of guests: Do not exceed maximum # of people and cars allowed on property at any time. Absolutely no street parking in front of home in dirt area/non paved area is allowed due to Vacation Home Rental Permit Compliance. Each violation is subject to a mandatory citation of $1000 to guest, and $1000 to property owner. If guest receives a citation by City or County, they agree to pay one thousand dollars per citation to property owner in addition to the citations. Cars may only be parked in designated parking areas on driveway and garage. 2. Understand and respect our highly noise sensitive community. No loud parties/special events or loud noise outside anytime. No noise of any kind allowed outside during city mandated quiet hours of 9pm-8am. Please enjoy the home by remaining inside or at a public place that allows noise. 3. No visible trash may be left outside due to wild animals. All trash should be deposited inside our approved bear resistant trash bin. Please do not leave food in car or garage, or bears can break through the garage door and car windows. 4. If host in any way feels uncomfortable with guests, your booking may be cancelled at our sole discretion. Guest understands and agrees that South Lake Tahoe is in a highly noise sensitive area with heavy code enforcement patrols by the City of SLT Police and El Dorado Sheriffs 24/7/365. Guest understands that the City of South Lake Tahoe Code Enforcement officers and El Dorado County have a 0 discretion, zero tolerance policy to the above rules. Any code violation will likely result in a City Citation in the amount of up to two thousand dollars per incident, and may also lead to an eviction from the property. If evicted, guests are subject to forfeiture of all money paid and may be evicted with no notice. Guests will not use house internet for illegal purposes including but not limited to illegal streaming, improperly copy or share copyrighted content such as music, movies, video or software using Peer-to-Peer or Torrenting software. Guests will be liable for all the expenses resulting from illegal usage of house internet. By agreeing to our house rules, the person entering the property, or allowing entry into the property, acknowledges that they have read, understand, voluntarily agrees to the foregoing. By agreeing to this electronic document, the signer acknowledges he/she is 25 or older and is legally responsible for compliance of all occupants of the VHR with all applicable laws, house rules, and regulations pertaining to the use and occupancy of the VHR, and that should any violation of this ordinance occur, that fines may be imposed in accordance with sections 5.56.150 and 5.56.200.
