A chukum-plastered house on a sandy street in La Veleta, with a plunge pool in a garden of palms and ceibas, a rooftop for the stars, and two bedrooms that open onto the pool. Fans and air conditioning, an outdoor shower, a kitchen with a big fridge for the cenote days. Bikes are in the garden for the 15-minute ride to the beach road; Gran Cenote is ten minutes the other way. Town's taquerías and the Saturday market are a five-minute cycle. Nights here are dark and loud with frogs. Inside: 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 4 (bedroom 1: 1 queen bed; bedroom 2: 1 double bed) and 2 bathrooms. There is a washing machine, a proper desk and air conditioning in every room, and fast wifi throughout. It stays cool inside even in the hottest months. Check-in is from 3 pm with a keypad on the door; checkout is by 11 am. There is off-street parking for your car. No pets, please. Quiet hours are 11 pm to 8 am, as the neighbours live here all year.
