Beachfront Oasis with Amazing Views

Perfect getaway home to relax and enjoy peaceful beach views. This beachfront home is perfect for a romantic weekend getaway or a family vacation. Enjoy long walks on the beach, conversations at the fire pit in the evening, kayaking or hunting for fossil sharks teeth. The perfect escape from DC, the home is just over an hour from the city and located in the quiet, private beach community. The space The home is set up to provide the perfect break from the bustle or a beach vacation. Outdoor living areas provide intimate views of the beach, family and friends can gather at the fire pit, or can meet in the screened in porch. The house has 3 bedrooms that comfortably accommodates 6 guests. Two primary bedrooms have king beds with large sliding glass doors to enjoy in the view from sunrise to evening. The downstairs bedroom has sliding doors that open up to the deck area. The top floor bedroom features a balcony sitting area with chairs. All bedrooms feature blackout curtains so you don’t have to wake up with the sunrise…but we advise that you do. It is spectacular! The small bedroom has a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom and a twin on top. Perfect for kids or adventurous adults. The two full bathrooms are new making it perfect for a family. The home is equipped to enjoy outdoor living. There is an outdoor fire pit to gather around in the evening, two kayaks for exploring, and a large trampoline for kids of all ages. Beach chairs are perfectly situated to hear the waves and to enjoy the beachfront views. The deck has a gas grill that is perfect for cooking dinner and winding down for the evening. We have a cord of wood for use in the fire pit and fireplace during winter months. Please make the most of the screened in back porch where you can watch lightening storms in the summer, lounge with a drink, and dine. We have some life preservers for kids and swimmers who prefer to wear them and plenty of rafts for you to use. The local area has activities for families and groups. We are just down the road from tennis courts, Calvert Cliffs State Park, and a short drive to local restaurants. Children are absolutely welcome. There is a large television in the den area on the second floor that you can use to access Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max and more. There are also plenty of board games to keep everyone entertained, binoculars for bird watchers too. We routinely see hummingbirds, osprey, bald eagles and pelicans. The house was renovated recently and is full of original art. It is wonderful retreat any month of the year. We absolutely love taking walks on the beach year-round. The house has strong WiFi that can handle many devices at the same time. The kitchen cabinets and bathrooms are new and there is a washer/dryer unit for your convenience. Guest access By booking with us you get full access to the house through an electronic lock, so you can check yourself in at your convenience. You will have full beach access and use of all amenities on site. Other things to note There are prickly pear cactus in the grass and on the dunes, so we advise guests to wear footwear when walking around outside. We urge people to use caution when swimming out at the point, which is about a half mile away as the currents can be quite strong there. The rest of the cove is perfect for swimming and the water is quite warm all summer. Trash.
