Surrounded by lush greenery, our space offers a comfortable country feel with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. Enjoy strolling through our vegetable garden where you can unwind and say hello and feed our friendly chickens. We're a five minute drive to historic downtown Franklin, 10 minutes to cool springs, and 25 minutes to Nashville, ensuring easy access to all the attractions and amenities the area has to offer. We offer you three free passes to three of the three most popular historic tourists destination around Franklin; the Carter House, Carnton Plantation, and Rippa Villa. Whether you're exploring the historic district, indulging in delicious dining options, shopping in unique boutiques, or enjoying a confection or ice cream cone, you'll find everything conveniently located nearby. After a day of adventures, retreat to our quiet oasis for a restorative nights sleep. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee to a sunrise, unwinding watching fireflies in the evening, or enjoying smores at the firepit, our space offers the perfect blend of relaxation and convenience for your Franklin getaway. There are separate quarters on the property, each with its own private entrance, and designated parking space(s). Every shared wall in the main home has been doubly "soundproofed" providing significant sound suppression so each guests can peacefully enjoy their own private space and experience. Still, we ask to please be mindful of other guests, and try to keep noise at a considerate level. Guest access Feel free to play and explore the grounds at your leisure. You have full access to the Country Cottage suite, parking, the fire pit, garden, chicken coop and children's swing. Make yourselves at home! Other things to note Any air mattresses included in your stay include an auto inflate feature to maintain your desired level of firmness throughout the night, as well as a headboard to keep your pillows in place. We also offer firewood for sale if you would like for $19 a bundle. It includes seasoned hardwood, fat wood kindling, lighters insect repellant and is found right outside your door. The fire pit is just outside the residence with a table and four Adirondack chairs. There are strings of lights overhead for an intimate ambiance. If you decide to bring you're own firewood, all we ask is that you purchase it locally to help restrict the transfer of non native insect species to reduce the impact of our forests, which has been significant in recent years.
