Historic Shotgun Little Nola House/Explore by foot

Full of old school charm, this 2 bedroom shotgun home is steps from St. Charles Ave. Whether you are looking to stroll through the Garden District, enjoy boutique shopping on Magazine street, experience local cuisine, or take a Street Car ride to the Quarter or Audubon Park, this location has it all! Explore the best of what New Orleans has to offer by foot. The space I am renting one half of my double shotgun house. The home is over 100 years old with a decorative fireplace mantel in each room. The front room of the shotgun is the living room, which has a couch, two chairs, coffee table, and features a floor to ceiling window. The second room is a bedroom with a queen size bed, small clothing rack, and a desk. The third room is also a bedroom, with a queen size bed, small clothing rack, and desk. The fourth room is the kitchen, which is equipped with cooking essentials, as well as, complimentary coffee and tea. The bathroom area is just behind the kitchen followed by a door that leads to a shared fenced in back yard. I provide wireless internet, towels, some basic toiletries, sheets and extra pillows are available upon request. The house is equipped with very fast WiFi for streaming and work, but there are no TVs. If you are looking for a property with a TV you can filter the search options in the Airbnb ap. The primary source of heat for the bnb comes from a mini split system and two radiant heaters. The bnb is cooled by a mini split system. New Orleans summers can be brutal. While the units are sufficient to keep the house cool if you are particularly temperamental to heat and are traveling during the summer please be wary. It’s hot down here y’all. I want you to be comfortable during your stay and if you made it this far into the listing thank you the most for reading! Guest access The shotgun itself is completely private from the other side, but the yard is shared with my roommate/cohost and myself. There is one off street parking space available in front of the property for guest use (the second space is for the other side of the shotgun). Other things to note A "Shotgun" style house has a layout in which there are no hallways, you must walk through one room to get to the next. The front door opens to the living room followed by a door to the first bedroom then a door to the second bedroom then a doorway to the kitchen followed by a doorway to the back hallway and bath area and a door that opens to the back yard. Please do not move heaters and appliance plugs from the outlets that they are currently located in. Certain appliances are running on dedicated circuits. My cohost or myself will gladly launder any clothing or linens that you would like to have washed during your stay. Please contact me directly if you would like to take advantage of this option.
