Wake up above the treetops with coffee in hand and Beech Mountain glowing outside your window. Spend the day on the slopes, then sink into a hot tub with a view, gather around the fire pit under the stars, and fall asleep on a Casper mattress in a cabin built for family memories. Banner Elk Winery is less than a mile away, and Sugar Mountain is just 5.5 miles. The space ☆☆ Winter 2026–2027: Come Ready for a Snowy Season ☆☆ The Farmer’s Almanac is calling for a colder, snowier winter in Banner Elk this year. That means magical mountain views, but it also means planning ahead: 4WD or tire chains REQUIRED. Snow and ice can arrive at any time. The driveway is steep, and you may need to walk up it, which isn’t recommended for elderly guests or very young children. Stock up. Bring groceries, extra food, and bottled water in case the roads delay a store run. Pack layers. Bring warm extras in case of a power outage, and don’t forget snow bibs! We’ve got you covered. Flashlights and extra blankets are in the home. Keep your devices charged when you can. Hot tub tip: Below freezing, the water cools quickly once the lid is open, so keep it covered between soaks. ☆☆ What You’ll Love ☆☆ ☀ Steaming hot tub with mountain views ☀ Private fire pit with firewood provided, ready for s’mores ☀ Balcony with 4 rocking chairs facing Beech Mountain ☀ Gas fireplace for cozy evenings in ☀ 3 bedrooms with Casper memory foam mattresses and luxury bedding ☀ 2 full bathrooms ☀ Fully stocked kitchen with newer appliances ☀ Gas grill with extra propane on site ☀ High-speed Wi-Fi, central heat and AC, and a full-size washer and dryer ☆☆ Mornings Here ☆☆ Start your day slowly. Brew a cup on the Keurig hybrid (ground coffee, teas, sugar, Splenda, and honey are provided, so just bring your favorite K-cups), then step onto the balcony, settle into a rocking chair, and watch the mist lift off Beech Mountain. Back inside, the kitchen is ready for a big family breakfast with a full-size fridge and ice maker, an air fryer, a blender, a crockpot, and plenty of counter space. The dining table seats 6, and there are 2 barstools at the counter. ☆☆ Gathering Together ☆☆ High ceilings, big windows, and treetop views make the open living room feel airy and peaceful. Sink into the reclining couch or one of the 2 recliners, put on a movie, and let the gas fireplace fill the room with a warm glow. There’s room for everyone to spread out without anyone feeling crowded. ☆☆ Evenings Under the Stars ☆☆ As the sun dips behind the ridge, head outside to your private fire pit. Roast marshmallows, swap stories, and watch the stars come out. Then slip into the 4-person hot tub, which is heated year-round and comes with hot tub towels, and let the mountain air cool your face while the jets melt away a day on the slopes. ☆☆ Restful Nights ☆☆ Every bedroom is designed for deep, quiet sleep, with Casper memory foam mattresses, luxury bedding, ceiling fans, a TV with streaming, and luggage racks. Main level: a king bedroom and a kids’ favorite bunk room (twin over full, plus a twin trundle). They share a full bathroom with a tub. Upstairs primary suite: a private retreat with a king bed, an en-suite walk-in shower, and a lighted makeup vanity. ☆☆ Your Mountain Adventures ☆☆ Banner Elk Winery: 0.7 mi Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster: 4.7 mi Sugar Mountain Skiing & Snow Tubing: 5.5 mi Beech Mountain Skiing & Snow Tubing: 7.1 mi Grandfather Winery: 9.7 mi Hawks Nest Snow Tubing & Zipline: 12.3 mi App State University: 12.8 mi Grandfather Mountain: 14.3 mi Linville Caverns: 24.8 mi Asheville Regional Airport: 87 mi GUEST ACCESS The whole cabin is yours.
