The Love Shack

Welcome to the Love Shack, a cozy minimalist tiny cabin set in the back of a large parcel against national forest land. The property is surrounded by canyon walls with views overlooking the verde river valley. The cabin has a private hot tub and attached covered patio space with outdoor seating. Inside there is a fully stocked mini kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a comfortable double futon bed. A short drive from Old Town Cottonwood and Sedona, it’s the perfect setting for a peaceful getaway The space The Love Shack sits in a large private backyard set in a canyon overlooking the Verde river valley surrounded by mountains. Fully updated with a cozy zen vibe perfect for anyone seeking fresh air, dark skies, beautiful sunsets, privacy, peace & quiet, and immersion in nature. The Love Shack is site built with private hot tub & covered patio space. Inside there is a bathroom & shower, full mini kitchen, and double size futon. You have exclusive use of the love shack, hot tub, the attached patio, and onsite guest parking. The backyard setting is resort like against Coconino National Forest. Private hiking trails are right outside the backyard and shared between all guests. There is wide open public land all the way to Sedona from the yard. Friendly pets allowed. There is no host on the property. Old Town Cottonwood is five minutes away. Sedona is 15 minutes north down scenic 89A. There is nothing but wide open beautiful undeveloped land between the property and Sedona. Neighborhood: The property is across the street from homes lining the Verde river. There are no street lights. It is dark at night. Solar LED landscape lights and motion sensor lights are scattered throughout the over one acre property for your safety. The neighborhood has proven to be very safe for guests and pets. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the Love Shack, hot tub, and attached covered patio space. There are three on-site parking spaces for guest marked with Guest Parking signs. Guests have shared access to the private hiking trails in the backyard. Guests have shared access to the fully fenced in horse corral below the love shack that serves as a dog run. Guest parking spaces are shared between cottage and love shack guests. Each structure is designed to be as private as possible - please respect privacy of others during your stay. Other things to note Love Shack comfortably accommodates 2 adult guests. There is wi-fi but no TV. Parking: Park only in spots marked with Guest Parking signs. Upon entry to the property, follow signs to 'Back Parking' where you will find marked guest parking spaces. Maximum two vehicles allowed onsite per group. Pets: The yard is not fully fenced in. Leash all dogs (except when in the old horse corral area below the love shack - with closed gates). Pick up immediately after your dogs and toss bagged in garbage outside. Heat & A/C: The love shack has working A/C and heat with remote control. Quiet hours: 9pm-9am.
