Our friendly dog, Lyra, occasionally enjoys the backyard. Please keep both patio gates closed to help keep the patio private. You're welcome to say hello to her in the yard if she's outside! She is very friendly but has zero awareness of personal space. During the growing season, please enjoy the garden from a distance, as it's part of our private space. We love sharing extra produce when available. A few interior doors remain locked because they lead to our private storage areas. Other things to note To help ensure our home is the right fit, please note: Private lower-level suite: The guest suite has its own private entrance and is located in our owner-occupied home. Some household noise: Because this is an older home, you may occasionally hear everyday sounds from upstairs, including happy footsteps from our dog, Lyra. We observe quiet hours and strive to be considerate of our guests. If complete silence is essential for your stay, a detached home may be a better fit. Who lives upstairs: Ourselves (Bryce & Carrie) and our dog, Lyra. Adults only (18+): This property is reserved for guests 18 years and older. No smoking or vaping: Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere on the property. Stair access: The suite is accessed by stairs (see picture) and is not wheelchair accessible. Temperature: The suite does not have a separate thermostat, but we're happy to adjust it anytime. Fans, space heaters, and the gas fireplace help keep the space comfortable year-round. On cool mountain evenings, opening the windows often cools the suite faster than the A/C.
