After your adventures, come home to a warm fire, soak in the private hot tub under the covered gazebo, or settle in for games and a cozy evening together. 🦃 THANKSGIVING IN THE MOUNTAINS Celebrate Thanksgiving surrounded by the beauty of the Smokies. Mountainside Memories is decorated for the season, creating a warm backdrop for Thanksgiving dinner, family photos, traditions, and time together. Our well-stocked kitchen makes preparing your holiday favorites easier, with cookware, bakeware, a 7-quart Crock-Pot, rice cooker, and plenty of essentials for meals at the cabin. After dinner, gather around the fireplace, challenge the family to foosball or one of 60 classic arcade games, play a board game, or head outside for a relaxing soak in the hot tub while watching the game on the gazebo TV. And the next morning? Skip the rush. Make a latte, hot chocolate, or freshly ground coffee at the coffee bar and enjoy a slow mountain morning. 🌲CHRISTMAS AT MOUNTAINSIDE MEMORIES There's something extra special about Christmas in a log cabin in the Smokies. Beginning the weekend after Thanksgiving, Mountainside Memories is transformed for Christmas with a decorated tree, garland, festive mantel, holiday touches throughout the cabin, and exterior Christmas lights welcoming you home each evening. Spend your days enjoying the Christmas lights and festivities in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, then escape the crowds and return to peaceful Wears Valley. Make hot chocolate at the coffee bar, curl up by the fireplace and Christmas tree for a favorite holiday movie, play games together, or slip into your robe and enjoy the hot tub beneath the gazebo. It's a cozy mountain setting for Christmas traditions, family photos, and the kind of simple moments that often become favorite memories. ✨ NEW YEAR'S IN THE SMOKIES The Christmas magic doesn't end on December 25. Enjoy the cabin's holiday décor as you celebrate the final days of the year in the mountains. Great Smoky Mountains National Park, scenic drives, hiking, local Wears Valley restaurants, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg are all within easy reach. Come make your next mountain memory with us. ❤️ Guest access Guests will have private and exclusive access to the entire cabin and all its amenities, including the private hot tub, game area, and outdoor spaces. Your stay also includes complimentary access to the Honeysuckle community facilities, located just two miles away. Community Amenities: Seasonal Pool: Enjoy the community pool and deli, open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Fishing Pond: Take advantage of year-round access to the community's catch-and-release fishing pond. Other things to note This Wears Valley cabin includes a private hot tub, peaceful outdoor space, and easy access to the Smoky Mountains. Cabin Style: This cabin is a perfect fit for families, couples, and close groups who are comfortable with open, shared sleeping spaces in the loft. It is not suitable for groups seeking multiple private bedrooms or a party-focused stay. Family Amenities: We are happy to provide a Pack ‘n Play, high chair, baby bath, safety gates, and children's books, toys, and dinnerware to make traveling with little ones easier. Mountain Environment: The cabin is in a natural setting where you may encounter wildlife. The mountain weather can change quickly, and we highly recommend travel insurance, especially during the winter months. Driveway: The cabin is located on a gravel driveway with a mild incline (fits 3–4 vehicles). Security: For your safety and the security of the property, exterior security cameras are in place. Please note that all guests must sign a standard short term rental lease once you book and submit a $300 security deposit 2 days prior to check-in.
