Guest access You will have access to the main house, the Cabin and the farm house on the property, the ponds, and all of the hiking trails. The barns are not part of your access. Important Acknowledgements Bedrooms are located upstairs—guests should be comfortable with stairs This is a natural, rural setting with wildlife present Pool, spa, and outdoor areas are used at your own risk Exterior security cameras are in place for safety Guests are responsible for any damages during their stay A liability waiver is required prior to arrival Guest insurance may be required upon request Property Care & Maintenance Host or representative may meet you at check-in to review systems Garden care may occur daily (scheduled with you in advance) Snow removal and maintenance may occur as needed Pool & Spa Overview (Simplified) We’ll walk you through everything at check-in, but here are key points: Keep water level midway up skimmers Pool pump must remain ON at all times Pool temperature is set to ~80°F in summer Spa heats in ~20 minutes (max 104°F) Turn off slide/water features when not in use Use patio control panel for all functions Wild Animals and Insects One of the most special parts of staying here is being surrounded by nature. You’ll experience the sights and sounds of the countryside—especially at night, when you may hear owls or distant coyotes. It’s all part of the peaceful, natural setting that makes this place so unique. With that in mind, we kindly ask guests to be mindful of local wildlife. Animals such as deer, turkeys, geese, and other small woodland creatures are commonly seen, and on occasion, you may encounter animals like bears, coyotes, or snakes as well. For everyone’s comfort and safety: 1. Please supervise children and pets when outdoors and exploring the property. 2. Avoid approaching or feeding any wildlife. 3. Keep doors closed so animals don’t wander inside. 4. If you happen to see a snake or any wildlife that concerns you, simply give it space and contact me right away. Most wildlife prefers to keep its distance, and respectful awareness goes a long way in ensuring a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone. As part of your stay, all guests are required to review and sign a property liability waiver, which will be sent to you upon booking.
