For years, family, friends, neighbors, and couples have gathered beneath its towering fir trees to celebrate life's milestones—or simply enjoy one another's company. At the heart of it all is a welcoming farmhouse where conversations linger around the table, mornings begin slowly with coffee in hand, and evenings end beside a crackling fire. Step into a simpler time in this spacious 2,400-square-foot farmhouse, where the warmth and character of a country home blend with the comforts of today. It's not about polished perfection—it's about comfort, connection, and the feeling of returning to a place that reminds you of weekends at Grandma's farmhouse. Whether you're planning a family reunion, a weekend getaway with friends, celebrating a special occasion, or simply looking for room to breathe, you'll find everything you need to settle in and make yourself at home. The fully equipped country kitchen includes a dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, espresso machine and French Press, coffee grinder, toaster, blender, cookware, and dinnerware for up to sixteen guests—perfect for leisurely breakfasts and shared family meals. The adjacent dining room comfortably seats eight, inviting everyone to gather long after dinner has ended. The farmhouse sleeps up to eight guests with one king bed and three queen beds. Two full bathrooms provide plenty of space, including a charming clawfoot tub downstairs and a walk-in shower upstairs. A full-size washer and dryer make extended stays easy. As evening settles in, pour a glass of wine, light the fire, and drop the needle on a vintage record. You're in for a treat—the farmhouse features a special collection of over 350 classic albums waiting to be enjoyed. Or simply curl up with a good book beside the wood-burning fireplace, with plenty of seasoned firewood provided. Outside, you'll have room to slow down, stretch your legs, and reconnect with nature. The farmhouse is surrounded by beautiful open space, with nine acres surrounding the home providing a stunning backdrop to your stay. Well-behaved canine companions are welcome, too. One of Circlewood's most treasured spaces is its forest gathering circle nestled beneath towering fir trees. Guests are welcome to stroll through and enjoy its peaceful beauty as they explore the property. The tree circle is also available by separate reservation for private celebrations and weddings, creating an unforgettable setting beneath the forest canopy. During the warmer months, adventurous guests may also enjoy the unique romantic outdoor shower tucked among the trees—a memorable way to rinse off after a day exploring Vashon or simply embrace the fresh island air. It is fully equipped with robes, towels, slippers and soaps. Your host lives quietly in a separate cottage on the property, approximately 200 feet from the farmhouse. You'll enjoy your privacy while knowing assistance is nearby should you need anything during your stay. Whether you're watching the morning light filter through the trees, gathering around the farmhouse table, exploring Vashon's beaches and trails, or sharing stories beside the fire, The Farmhouse at Circlewood offers something increasingly rare—a place to slow down, reconnect, and create memories that will stay with you long after your visit. Our co-host, Meg, is available to answer any questions during your stay. Her contact info will be available inside the farmhouse. Dan, the owner, who lives 200 feet away is available for any maintenance issues needing immediate attention. Dan and his co-hosts, Karen and Meg, have combined 60 years of experience living on Vashon Island and can recommend things to do, see, and where to eat! Other things to note Two well-behaved canine pets are allowed with an additional pet fee. If your booking requires more sleeping space, guests can bring their own tents and sleeping bags. We also have 2 queen-size air mattresses for use inside or out. For bookings with more than 4 guests, a $35 per person fee will be added. Note: The entire property -- including the tree circle and the outdoor shower garden -- is limited to only those staying at the Farmhouse and is subject to availability. There may be a separate event booked for the tree circle.
