This is not just a rental property, but a true vacation home we treasure and enjoy. We rent it to help maintain it, and we hope it brings you as much joy as it has brought our family for generations. The condo is fully equipped with every amenity you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The view—overlooking the marina, meadow, and Heavenly Ski Resort—is simply one of the best in the area. Whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee or unwinding after a day of adventure, the scenery is unforgettable. The open-concept living and kitchen area on the ground floor leads directly out to the grassy yard, perfect for enjoying warm-weather days. The entire space is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully updated. We make a point of adding something new every year—this year, it's brand-new flat screen TVs in every room. Whether you're planning a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or an adventure-filled escape, our home is a wonderful fit. I often greet guests in person and make sure you’re settled, but your privacy is always respected so you can relax and enjoy the space. Getting Around: The best way to get around is by car, though some restaurants and shops are accessible by bike. In the warmer months, you can catch a trolley from South Lake Tahoe to Tahoe City. Boat rentals are available right at the marina. Cabs and rideshares are available, though often pricey due to distance. Most of our guests rave about the peaceful views, the ideal location, and the comfort of the condo. Whether you’re relaxing by the fire, heading out on a kayak, or watching the sunset over Heavenly, we hope you feel right at home. We look forward to sharing our special place with you. Unfortunately, the best transportation is by car. Restaurants and some shopping is available by bikes. In the spring and summer, you can catch a trolly from South Lake Tahoe to Tahoe City. Boat rentals are available from the marina. Cabs are also available but expensive based on the distance. Beach access is a very short walk. The property is truly our families vacation property. It is not an income property. We rent it to maintain it and keep it. We hope it gives you as much joy as it has given us since 1978. Guest access Please note: During the winter months, the upstairs and downstairs decks may be inaccessible or not cleared due to snow and weather conditions. Other things to note Guests have access to a wide range of Tahoe Keys amenities. Amenities include a private beach, indoor pool and jacuzzi, outdoor pool, sand volleyball court, basketball hoop, and multiple tennis and pickle ball courts. Use of these facilities is available for just $50 per pass per week, payable to the Tahoe Keys Property Owners Association and good for 3 guest. During the spring, summer, and fall, guests may also enjoy a fully equipped two-person Malibu kayak—perfect for exploring the lake at your leisure.
