You're nestled in a peaceful retreat that is 3 blocks from the main beach pier loaded with shops, restaurants & bars and 3 blocks from the back river ~ perfect for watching quiet sunsets and moonlight strolls. We've got a full kitchen and an array of dishes and cookware to help you make home-away-from-home home-cooked meals or snacks. Everything tastes better at the beach! Our front porch meets you where you are! It's perfect for early risers who want to rock their cares away and enjoy the quiet of the morning and the wooshing sound of waves with a side of tea or coffee. Or, enjoy the low hum and island buzz in the late afternoons and evenings. You're part of the island family as you watch other Tybeeans walk to dinner or buggy around in their golf carts. In the shared spacious backyard, there's a covered bar, granite counters, bar stools, outdoor TV, dining, lounge furniture, seating beneath a pergola, and a stainless gas grill. There's plenty of space to either socialize or cozy up with a book. At night, flick on the market lights to create a little bit of extra atmosphere and ambiance. The backyard/patio area is shared with the adjacent studio listing (see bluebanana on Airbnb) While the home is a duplex, each side is totally distinct. Located on a corner lot, the driveways and private entrances face separate roads. Plus, it's an old-time cinder block construction making it very quiet and private. Booking Breezy Banana and Blue Banana together is ideal for a family or friends getaway Guest access You have full access to the backyard while you're visiting, as do the guests from the adjacent side of the home. The backyard is the only "shared" common space. The driveways/homes/front porches are completely separate and face different directions! Other things to note -Our home is regularly maintained by a Tybee Island environmentally friendly, toxic-free cleaning, woman-owned business. - Tybee is street and dog friendly but doggos are not permitted on the beach. -We are blessed to have had wonderful guests return year after year to create traditions and memories.
