Four minute walk to Byers Beach Access point. This modern 2 bedroom 2 bath beach house located on Tybee Road (US 80) is convenient to just about everything on the Island’s North End, including restaurants, shopping, the Island’s premier wedding chapel. Truly a great value! The front bedroom has a queen bed and single movable roll-away bed. The rear bedroom has a queen bed. There is a 5 person limit (including infants and pets as well) unless prior approval is given by hosts. The space Starting as a house up in the trees, the exterior has been reimagined as a quaint “dockhouse” - without being on the water of course! Corrugated metal siding, a red metal roof, and a large wrap-around deck perfect for watching the sunset over the marsh, or maybe just for relaxing or dining under the century old live oak tree out front. The house was renovated with bamboo flooring throughout as well as updated appliances and fixtures. Guest access Amenities -Pet friendly - Pet fee only $30 for entire stay. (see below for details); -Stacked washer/dryer is located in the second bath; -Outdoor shower on side of house to rinse off sand; - HDTV’s are located in the living room and each bedroom (3 total). All TV’s are streaming smart TV’s. **Please remember to sign/log out of your streaming account(s) prior to check out. -USB-A outlets are located in both bedrooms and kitchen area. USB-C outlets are located in both bedrooms next to the bedside tables. -Luxury 800 thread count sheets on queen beds in both bedrooms; -Complimentary wireless internet; -Off-street parking available in the rear and front with room for 2-3 cars; -In addition to 12 cup traditional coffee maker there is a “K” cup style brewer; -Smart Lock with a unique code assigned to each reserving guest for the duration of your stay; -If you are working remotely a small portable desk can be provided (advance notice only). Information for guests, especially those traveling to Savannah by plane: -If are unable to bring beach chairs, we will be happy to provide some (advance notice only). -If you are unable to bring beach towels let us know. We will be happy to. provide (advance notice only). Other things to note Pet Policy: Pleasant-mannered dogs arriving with their well-behaved humans are welcome to stay at Dockhouse. Guests will be charged a flat $30 (plus applicable taxes) per pet, per stay. Service animals are always excluded from the pet fee. At time of booking please add your dog to the reservation. Airbnb will automatically charge the $30 pet fee. If you forget to add your pet, or have an additional pet, or decide to bring your pet after your initial booking, just let us know. We can send an additional request for the fee through the Airbnb system. For the comfort and safety of our pets and guests, we kindly ask dog owners to act responsibly and follow the guidelines listed below: • We welcome dogs who are current on vaccinations. Proof of vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian is required and must be available upon request. • Maximum of TWO (2) Dogs allowed. • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet(s) including grounds. Please immediately remove and dispose of any waste. An additional cleaning fee may apply if the pet(s) creates an excessive mess. • Keep your dog(s) on a leash when outside of the house. • Dog owners are responsible for all personal injuries and/or property damage related to their pet(s). • Host reserves the right to ask the guest and his/her pet to leave without a refund if the pet displays signs of aggression. • As a courtesy to our neighbors, noise should respectfully be kept to a minimum. If a guest’s pet is making excessive noise, you will be contacted for compliance. Your pet needs rest just like you. We want you to enjoy your stay. • If the pet’s behavior results in complaints by others in the area, the owner may be asked to board the pet in an outside shelter. PLEASE NOTE: We wish it were not the case (as we too have a “dog/child”), but the City of Tybee Island prohibits all animals on the Island’s beaches except for service dogs. You will find however many restaurants and shops on the Island that are pet friendly and welcoming. **Check Out Time is 10:30 A.M. - The house tends to stay booked. We are not normally able to provide late check-out’s, as we need to get the house cleaned and sanitized for the next check in. (Airbnb Terms of Service 8.2.2 allows the host to charge up to twice the overnight rate for any “Overstay” by a guest.)
