Get away and relax on the north end of Tybee Island on Chimney Creek, just 2 minutes away from Lazaretto Creek with Kayak Rentals, Dolphin Tours & Waterfront Dining. 1st floor apt with 3 BR/2BA, sleeps 6. Grill & waterfront view. Being on the north end makes it a convenient trip off of the island if you’d like to explore downtown Savannah. The space This space is very roomy, more than 1,500 square feet. We have new siding, new windows in the kitchen & 3rd bedroom as well as new toilets. We have fresh paint throughout the rental, so please be kind to our walls, doors and cabinetry. There's a washer and dryer in the condo as well as an electric stove, dishwasher, cable TV and wifi. There's parking in front of the entrance to the unit as well as on the entire opposite side of the street, which is marsh with a BEAUTIFUL sunrise. There's a back yard the upstairs residents use with their dogs & children. We have 3 bedrooms; the master has a king size bed, a second bedroom has a queen bed and 3 has two brand new twin beds. We have a pack n' play for babies as well as a booster seat, books and some toys. There’s a cozy area outside of the back door with a propane grill, table and chairs. The outer deck and dock are off limits and private for the owners only because of insurance liability & irresponsible former guests. We do apologize for this. PLEASE respect this policy. Failure to do so will result in being asked to vacate the property immediately without a refund of the remaining nights of your stay. The front yard is beautiful as it faces the marsh where the sunrise is magnificent. Feel free to pull up a chair or lay a blanket to enjoy the beauty at sunrise or throughout the day to watch the various marsh birds and to enjoy watching the tides go from high to low. The view never is the same twice and there’s always something new to experience. This is also a great front yard for kids to play in (with adult supervision). It’s a very quiet neighborhood with a dead end street. You’ll be able to enjoy walks or bike rides along the marsh. Please note that you do have to walk through either the master or queen bedroom to access the bedroom with the twin beds. Many guests like this when traveling with children. We are no longer accepting pets after repainting and upgrades. Guest access Beautiful view of the sunrise over the marsh from the front yard Adirondack chairs. In the back, you’ll find a propane grill, table and chairs, and a great view for sunset. In the front yard, there are chairs & side tables to enjoy the gorgeous sunrise with a cup of coffee, watch the tides come and go as well as all of the marsh birds. Children must be watched by an adult *who is outside with them at all times* as there's water in both the front and back and can be a drowning or falling hazard. We are not liable for any injuries or lost items if you decide to go onto the deck or dock. The shed and workshop along with the back door accessing the upstairs are OFF LIMITS. The upstairs residents have dogs who do use the yard. (They are extremely friendly and love to meet new friends, so don’t be surprised if they try to show off while playing or come to greet you. PLEASE respect this policy. Failure to do so will result in being asked to vacate the property immediately without a refund of the remaining nights of your stay.) Other things to note Check out is by 10 a.m. of the last day of your visit. The cleaning ladies must start promptly at 10 to ensure they can complete their job prior the next guests checking in later that day. Failure to check out on time will result in $100 per additional hour of not departing. The cleaning ladies must have ample time to clean after one departure and before a new arrival. Please respect this policy. All hotels and vacation rentals have check out times that must be adhered to as the cleaning team deserves the allotted amount of time to make sure the rental is ready for the next guest. If you do not check out in time, dispose of all trash properly, clean up after yourself and strip all beds as instructed, this will result in a negative review & additional charge. Misplacing or taking the key with you at check out time will a result in a $20 charge for the inconvenience and key replacement, more if we think it’s a safety issue and locks need to be replaced. Please take all sheets (only the sheets) off of the beds that were used as well as all towels and bathroom floor mats to the laundry room. Please start at least one load of laundry before departing. Please be gentle with the start button of the “smart” washer as if it is pressed too aggressively it will break. (This could result in a repair charge) This house has a septic system. Please ONLY flush toilet paper. Please dispose of feminine products, wipes, diapers and anything else in the trash. Failure to do so could result in a backup or the need to call a plumber. If the renters’ use or failure to adhere to guidelines is the cause of any issues, all fees associated with fixing anything will be passed on to the renters. We are no longer dog/pet friendly after many upgrades. Please do not arrive with pets as we will ask you to take them elsewhere (NOT in your car!) and you will not receive a refund.
