A 19th-century villa on the shore just south of Bellagio, with a lawn running down to its own stone dock and the Alps across the water. Four bedrooms, three and a half baths, a double-height living room with a fireplace, and a kitchen that opens onto the terrace where every meal happens from May to October. The lake is for swimming (it is cleaner than it looks from the ferry), for kayaks and paddleboards from the dock, and for the boat we can arrange with a skipper. Bellagio's lanes and the ferry to Varenna are a ten-minute walk along the lakeside path. 4 bedrooms, 3 and a half bathrooms, room for 8. Bedroom 1: 1 king bed; bedroom 2: 1 queen bed; bedroom 3: 1 queen bed; bedroom 4: 1 queen bed, 1 single bed. There is a washer and dryer, a dishwasher, air conditioning in every room and a fireplace, and fast wifi throughout. Check-in is from 4 pm with me or someone from the family; checkout is by 10 am. Parking is free at the house. No pets, please. Quiet hours are 11 pm to 8 am, as the neighbours live here all year. We ask for a minimum of 4 nights.
