Perfect Tempe location near a park and close to restaurants, shopping, etc. Newly remodeled home in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. New Sealy Posturepedic Queen bed (medium firmness), desk, 50 inch Roku TV, and a mini-fridge in the room. New ceiling fan, recliner, paint and baseboards added in January (like new). Bicycles available to rent for $20 (with 48 hour heads up). Wifi with unlimited internet. Table, chairs, fire pits and BBQ grill out back. Unlimited hot water (tankless heater). The space The Tempe area has much to offer. 5 minutes from ASU, Mill Ave (restaurants/bars), Tempe Towne Lake. 15 minutes to Old Town Scottsdale, the zoo, and places to hike. The park in this neighborhood is where Mill Avenue ends (from ASU), and it has a lake, volleyball courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball diamonds, batting cages, a wave pool, and picnic areas. Bathroom shared with only 2 people. It's empty 95% of the time. Smoking permitted outside. There are chairs in front and in the backyard. No smoking inside. Repainted in January 2026. $500 fine for smoking, vaping, or burning incense in the house. Please use the chairs outside if you smoke. Ethernet cable in the room. Currently, connected to the TV, but I have a 4 port switch if needed. Diirect connections also available in the living room and the desk near the dining room table. The WiFi is strong (Cox unlimited), but just in case a hard-line is required for work. Guest access The entire house is common access, except for bedrooms and bathrooms, of course. Please remember to be respectful of others by being clean, kind, and considerate. There are no children living in the house. A guest came for a weekend when there was also a mother and daughter staying. She said that I was great and the place was great and very clean, and then left me a 2 star review. The mother and daughter had received tragic news and were up after 10 pm. The woman who had left the bad review was new to AirBnB and didn't quite understand the concept of room in a house as opposed to entire house. Please do not use the bathroom trash from food items. Please pour liquids down a sink, recycle clean/dry items, and the rest use the trash in the kitchen. When full, the dumpster is on the side of the house. Black for land fill. Blue for recycling (clean and dry only - no need for plastic bags). During your stay I tend to stay out of the way, but hope that guests will ask if they have questions. I try to be on site to welcome new guests, but fully understand if not every question was answered in the first meeting. Other things to note The driveway will comfortably fit 3 cars. The dividing lines in the cement are a great guide. As long as no car is crossing one of the lines, and the center car is in the center, everyone will have more than 2 feet between, because the center lane is 11 feet wide, with 7 on each side (not counting the pavers, which can be used). Otherwise, street parking is available. Thx! Things I might forget to mention in person: 1. The washer has auto dispense, and so laundry detergent automatically goes in when you wash clothes. You can adjust the amount or turn it off if you want to use your own. After turning the washer on, you'll see the settings in the upper left corner of the display.
