A 10x12ft luxurious canvas tent on 3 acres with a view to the Hogback Ridge is within 1 mi of the world-renowned Red Rocks Amphitheater. The tent offers a queen size bed, a deck with outdoor seating and a BBQ. Discover the perfect blend of comfort and nature by booking your visit with us today! The space "Red Rocks Paradise" is unique and like nothing else to be found in the area. As soon as you park your car a beautiful lit up pathway with solar torches will lead you to the glamping site. The campsite is set back at the very end of a 3 acre property next to a little creek bordering open space. This is one of two unique glamping units set up on private creekside property. Both tents are elevated on a beautiful reclaimed redwood deck and share the same amenities. Your glamping site “Kiss a Cat” is romantically lit at night time and artistically decorated. The tent is waterproof and covered by a carport. The artwork (by Sabin, your host) covering the tent was exhibited at the McNichols Civic Center Building Downtown Denver a few years ago. Now it is enveloping your restful night under the starry sky of Colorado. The space offers you a coffee maker, a water kettle, water dispenser, BBQ and electricity. You will enjoy the delightful back side view of the famous Hogback mountain. Just a few steps away from your campsite you will find our bath house with a clean portable toilet, hot shower and hand sink. You also will find a fridge inside, where you can keep your refreshments and your food fresh and cool. It is entirely made from reclaimed materials and it adds glamor and luxury to your glamping experience! To minimize our environmental impact, we use a greywater system. The liquid soap provided is a diluted, biodegradable formula that nourishes our garden as it drains. While it may feel lighter than conventional soap, rest assured it's gentle on both your skin and the environment. We do our best to provide many of the comforts of a home for your "glamping" experience but make sure you are prepared to stay in the great outdoors which includes bugs and it is still camping. If you are afraid of bugs or occasional spiders this might not be for you. We cannot control the changes that both weather and the surrounding environment may cause. Although we provided an extra blanket and the tent has mosquito nets, we encourage bringing bug spray, warm clothes, flash lights, extra drinking water and other items you might need to make your stay pleasant. Please be aware of the weather and plan to dress accordingly. The bed is equipped with a heated mattress bed. Our property features 4 accommodations including two glamping tents and two RV sites. Guests share common facilities including the bathhouse. You may encounter other guests during your stay, creating a friendly, community camping atmosphere. If you prefer complete privacy and exclusive facility access, this property may not be the best fit for your needs. However, if you enjoy meeting fellow travelers and don't mind shared amenities, you'll love the social, outdoor experience we offer! Conveniently located just 10 minutes away, Hampden West Laundromat & Dry Cleaners offers brand new machines for all your laundry needs. As a bonus, you can enjoy a delicious tea from the excellent Boba Tea Shop right next door while you wait. We, Sabin & Randy, are artisans who live and work on-site. Guest access Please follow signs to the parking area. Portable toilet and washing area are located right to the left of the parking area. Follow the signs to the tents and just walk into the tent to the right "Hug a Bear". In addition to your tent there is another glamping tent on site: "Hug a Bear”. All guests have access to the bathroom area. Guests have each their own private area including porch and BBQ. Other things to note Our property is a work in progress. We acquired it recently and we are working tirelessly to improve and make it as beautiful and functional as we want it to be. We just made necessary repairs to our driveway and it is going to be resurfaced in July. Please drive slowly (5 mph) down the driveway to the glamping site. We would like to keep you safe and ask you to please stay inside the dedicated clamping site area that is shown in your welcome book. Security Notice: For the safety and security of all guests, we have installed a security camera in the parking area. This camera monitors the parking area only and does not record any private guest spaces or accommodations. The camera is clearly visible and helps ensure vehicle security on the property.
