Your neighbors here are mostly families, a few retires and a few Tulane and Loyola students. You can walk to Tulane. You can walk to the parade routes at Mardi Gras. The Freret Street entertainment section is very close. The house was built in 1927. The apartment has been renovated and is beautiful. There are two off street parking spaces for your use. The front bedroom facing the street has an ensuite bathroom with a glass front shower and a full sized bed. The rear left bedroom has a king size bed and a smart TV. The rear right bedroom has a queen sized bed. The hall bathroom near the rear two bedrooms has a bathtub/shower combination. Separate kitchen, dining room and laundry room complete the apartment amenities. Two off street parking spots are available at the rear of the apartment. This apartment is perfect for a family or a small group of friends traveling together. The dining room table seats six (two chairs added since photographs). The kitchen is a great place to prepare meals with a full sized range, refrigerator and microwave. In addition, a drip coffee maker, small toaster oven and crock pot are available for your use. This bright and airy apartment has Wi-Fi, central air-conditioning and heating, a full-sized washer and dryer and two smart television sets. The location is in the Uptown neighborhood with the Freret Street corridor of restaurants, coffee shops and nightlife only a few blocks away. If you are interested in a movie theater experience the Prytania Theater is a 15 min walk. The middle of the Tulane university campus is a 15-minute walk down Freret street. The St. Charles Streetcar line with access to downtown is a three-minute walk from the apartment. The Freret bus is another option to reach downtown New Orleans. Two great parks are close by, Daneel Park is on the same street as the apartment a three-minute walk and has great playground equipment for children and in addition Audubon Park is a 10 or 15 minute walk from the apartment or you can hop in the street car to get there too. The Owner John lives on the third floor on site should you need any assistance during your stay. The second-floor apartment is entirely and exclusively for your use during your stay. The ground floor is unoccupied. The second-floor apartment is reached by going up 12 steps with an intermediate landing. The stairwell entrance is shared with the owner’s apartment. You have your own door with a lock to your rented apartment. The neighborhood is a quiet residential neighborhood with a few schools therefore it is necessary to maintain the neighborhood peaceful atmosphere so no parties or events are allowed. Similarly, only registered guests are permitted to spend the night at the apartment. Access to the parking is through the driveway to the left of the building.
