House updated 2022; please see photos. The space January 2022 A new cleaner has been hired who offers guarantee on cleanliness; please notify host within 24 hours of check-in if there are cleanliness issues, and we'll come back to re-clean until you are happy. If we cannot resolve the cleaning issue, we will refund your cleaning fee. If there's any maintenance issue we cannot resolve within 24 hours of notification (apart from holidays, weekends, or supply shortage), we'll reimburse you accordingly. Carpeted flooring has been replaced with brand-new vinyl planks. Game room has foosball table. Everything has been deep-cleaned inside&out. Kitchen supplies have been checked to make sure they are in good condition, with enough for 16 guests. There are no plumbing, electrical, HVAC problems; we have walked the entire property to make sure there are no maintenance problems. In light of the coronavirus pandemic, we will do the following: 1. Follow Airbnb's & CDC's recommended cleaning procedures. Cleaning protocols are included in your house manual. 2. Answer all your questions and concerns calmly and thoroughly. 3. Respond immediately to your concerns. 4. We have essential supplies for you. 5. Covid-19 survival field guide (links are provided in your house manual). 6. Connection to holistic practitioners that have successfully treated COVID-19 at an affordable cost. Please contact host if you need this service. 7. Host & host's affiliates observe social distancing, where/when applicable, including wearing masks, depending on guests' comfort level. Door handles? Every single one wiped down. Plates? WHAT NOT TO EXPECT: If you expect a completely remodeled and updated home with brand-new furniture, please find another property. This home still retained its original 2006 built; it is a residential home, not fully remodeled according to a resort-style Hyatt commercial standard. Most furnishings are made of genuine wood to stand the test of time, and they are in comfortable, usable condition, but THEY WILL NOT LOOK BRAND-NEW due to high traffic. We will replace any furniture not in usable condition. WHAT TO EXPECT: A clean, comfortable, spacious, functional home away from home. Whether it be socializing in our comfortable couches and recliners, enjoying smores infront of our fireplace, relaxing in a jacuzzi, tasting exotic native Vietnamese fruits i.e. longan and sweetsop (when in season), eating healthy, delicious homemade meals in 2 dining tables with leather seat cushions (seats +12), BBQing with your friends, groups, or family members, entertaining friends with our rare pianola (you won't find this antique anywhere else! sorry, musical roll is too old to be self-playing), exercising using our gym equipments, watching TVs through netflix or sling cable-like TV, playing indoor games such as puzzles, board games, glass chess, air hockey, pool, table tennis, ping pong, table soccer, or enjoying outdoor games such as basketball, football, or baseball in our backyard, we have something for everyone, from infants up to adults. Each guest on reservation will be furnished with one set of towels that include a bath towel, hand towel, and wash cloth; additional fees apply for additional requested sets. Each bed has a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, a blanket and a comforter; there is an extra set of clean sheets and comforter in each bedroom. Other things to note This home uses antique furnishings for two reasons. First, we find that antiques are more durable and sturdier; they are less likely to break or tear; guests can be reassured that chances of damaging the furnishings are less likely. Second, for those who have conservative tastes, we find the antique furnishings look classier than modern-day furnishings. Kitchen items (mostly stainless steel) were bought brand-new in July 2017; if they are no longer functional, please let us know within 24 hours after check-in, and we will replace them for you brand-new. Spa usage - We do not service it without advance request and the additional fee has been paid. For extra security for our guests, an alarm system and security cameras surround the exterior of the house and inside the garage. We try out best to make sure this property has no maintenance issues prior to your check-in; please be patient with us if something breaks down during your stay that we are not aware of; please give us a 24 hour chance to resolve them for you asap (except weekends when technicians are not as readily available).
