You can also take a short drive to numerous trailheads along Highway 64. Inside, our cabin reflects the essence of New Mexico with its charming and rustic furnishings. The blend of traditional and contemporary elements creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for cozy nights in. Our chalet features an adobe fireplace in the master bedroom for romantic nights with your special someone. There is also a working fireplace in the main living area. For those seeking entertainment, our property boasts a fire pit where you can gather around and roast marshmallows with loved ones and create lasting memories under the starry night sky. Additionally, you can indulge in the ultimate relaxation with our hot tub outdoors, where you can soak away your stresses while being surrounded by the beauty of the forest. Please do not cross the fence. Other things to note Please note that there is no cellular service available in Taos Canyon. You will have to use Wi-Fi calling for communication while here. There is no garbage service in our area. Excess garbage cannot be left outside. We share a dumpster with an inn located 1 mile from our residence heading toward Taos. Directions are provided after booking. Vehicles must perform a three (3) point turn at the end of the drive to come back down. Vehicles longer than 20 feet may have a hard time and should not cross the bridge. This residence features a spiral staircase without a gate that leads to the second bedroom. For safety reasons, we advise against bringing small children, the elderly, or individuals who may have difficulty navigating the staircase. The second bedroom has an exterior entrance with a deadbolt and knob lock for enhanced security. Although the chalet is regularly treated to prevent pests, please be aware that you are situated in a forest setting and may encounter bugs. Please note that we are unable to provide refunds for circumstances beyond our control. Consider obtaining travel insurance to protect your trip. Kindly be aware that the use of the hot tub is at your own risk. Please note that late check-outs or early check-ins are not permitted unless arranged in advance.
