Peaceful Lake View Cottage, 20 Min from SeaTac

Songbird Cottage is a private retreat 20 mins from SeaTac Airport. Guests enjoy a fully equipped kitchen/dining area, big TV, & half bath. Upstairs is a serene bedroom with a partial view of Shady Lake, comfortable sitting area with a sleeper sofa, desk, bathroom, & laundry. A full foldout bed offers another sleeping option for 1-2 adults or children. During High Season May 1-Sept 30, guests may access the swimming area & water recreation gear. To enjoy, signing a waiver is required. The space On entering the cottage, the main living area is to the left, and includes a living room space, dining area, kitchen and 1/2 bathroom. There is a ceiling fan remote control to operate the ceiling fan, by the coat/hat hooks on the right-side wall upon entering the living area. Heating or cooling (depending on the time of the year) will be set in advance. The control for heating and cooling is in a tray on a stool in front of the couch, or in the holster to the left of the television set attached to the wall. Heating and cooling instructions are on the device and can be adjusted by guests to their own comfort level. To use premium channels on the television, guests will need to enter in their own account information. Guest access Guests will have full access to the entire stand-alone Cottage, which consists of two floors. Free parking is in front of the fence on the gravel area. During high season May 1 - Sept 30, each stay includes our Lake Recreation Package, with access for 2 guests to the swimming area and designated non-motorized water recreation equipment. The nightly rate includes Lake access for 2 registered guests. An additional guest fee of $25/person, per night applies to each registered guest above 2 guests. Use of the lake, dock and recreation equipment is subject to completion of the required participation document before access is provided. Other things to note Songbird Cottage is located in the Fairwood Highlands area in a quiet residential community of Shady Lake in Renton, Washington. The Cottage can sleep 5 or 6 adults, with the use of a folding full-sized bed stored in the master bedroom closet (see photos). The area for this additional sleeping option is in the Closet within the Master Bedroom. The closet/sleeping area has a slanted roof on one side. This foldable mattress is easy to carry and could also be used on the main floor if preferred. Please remove Sheets from the Bed(s), putting used bedding, towels and bathrobes into the bathtub before departure. Clean all dishes used before departure or put them in the dishwasher.
