Escape to this Smoky Mountain retreat! Located in the heart of Wears Valley, you will be close to the Park & many attractions in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg & Townsend. You will have all of the amenities needed while being surrounded by the mountains. * 10 min Townsend * 17 min Pigeon Forge * 27 min Gatlinburg * 30 min Cades Cove The space The Peaceful Perch is fully furnished with one king en-suite, a king & queen in a spacious open loft, & queen bunk beds & twin bunk beds in the game room area. There are three full bathrooms total, one on each floor. With this design, 12 guests can sleep comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker, coffee plus all of the essentials to create a wonderful meal. You may also want to grill on the charcoal grill located just off of the back porch. The open living room on the main floor provides great views of the mountains, porch, kitchen and 65 inch Smart TV. The master bedroom with en-suite is also on this level and includes its own Smart TV. Upstairs, the open loft, includes two beds, a full bathroom bathroom, and seating areas in addition to a huge multipurpose closet that can be used as a playroom for the kids or workspace if needed…remember, you’re on vacation so please try to relax. Downstairs, you will find a theater with 85 inch TV and Sonos sound bar and subwoofer. The theater has 6 plush, electric leather seats along with 2 large bean bag chairs. Of course, there’s room for more seating so feel free to move chairs from the game room just around the corner or grab a few blankets to enjoy the movie or game with your family. Enjoy Pac Man, NFL Blitz or play pool where another large Smart TV is hung so you can keep up with games or movies while you enjoy the game room. Other amenities include: * Gas fireplace * Hot tub * Smart TVs throughout * Wifi * Toaster * Coffee Maker with Coffee & Tea * Iron & board * Plenty of towels, blankets and pillows * Outdoor firepit with plenty of seating & views of the mountains Guest access Entire cabin with tons of paved parking in the driveway on nearly two acres. While the cabin is easily accessible for most people, someone in a wheelchair or not able to climb some stairs should explore other great cabins in the Smokies. Other things to note Housebroken dogs are welcome. Please no puppies who are not housebroken, no puppy pads. No dogs who are chewers or who “mark.” There is a $125 pet fee. Please inquire about multiple pets. There is a great fenced area where your dog can go hang out. However, please read the next paragraph. The cabin is near the woods so you will probably hear and maybe see some “critters.” We have had bears pass through the property so keep an eye out and do not feed them or leave food out on the porch. Also, we do not leave our dog outside by herself in the fenced in backyard just in case bears come wandering by. If bears do come around, please keep your distance. The hot tub is for everyone, however kids must be accompanied by an adult at all times. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or are pregnant. Have fun but use the hot tub at your own risk. No late check-out or check-in. If a guest does not vacate the property by 10:00 a.m. on their scheduled day of departure, there will be a $50 fee administered for the first half hour and $100 for each subsequent half hour that the guest fails to vacate the property. No refunds for weather, natural disasters, power outages and other events beyond our control.
